Beware of Byram Healthcare! I was using them for several years then all of a sudden they began to bill me for deliveries that I never received. I paid off those bills not knowing for sure until the next delivery I paid attention to paying and sending in my check for the bill. Next month I received another bill. Please find someone else for your health supplies. They are a mess. They can't communicate properly over the phone or on their website.

I've used this company for clients many years, however in the past few years I've noticed the delivery truck is an unmarked white panel truck and since they've begun using it the shipping dates take much longer, actually way longer, and if for some reason you don't get your shipment, or it is missing something you will not know until after it arrives and you are forced to call them because they don't even attempt to notify you about it. When I called about my partial order I was told it was being shipped out on following Tuesday, and now 3 weeks later I had to call yet again to find out what happened to it, I was told my back order was actually being shipped out today, and should arrive in 3 to 5 business days, and that's accommodating for them considering today is Wednesday and that means my clients badly needed order will not get here until approx another week! I will be changing companies and my advice to anyone who needs their supplies on time to not go with this company!

Incompetent and Corrupt Business
I ignored all of the one star ratings (regretfully) and thought it's a free breastpump, what could go wrong? They "verified" that I qualified for a free pump, sent me the pump, then weeks later billed me full price. Customer service was rude and told me they can't keep up with every insurance restriction and I should have asked them to wait till after my due date to send the pump. It's my fault insurance denied their claim and that bill is mine to pay. Took several calls and a ridiculous amount of time on hold, and finally a talk with a supervisor to straighten things out and get the bill removed. Had to do all of this while caring for a newborn. Please do yourself a favor, trust the reviewers and avoid Byram.

I have been using Byram Healthcare for…
I have been using Byram Healthcare for years to acquire my insulin pump therapy and continuous glucose monitoring prescriptions. They are always friendly and helpful when talking with them on the phone and always process my orders in a timely manner. The only difficulty in communications I've had with them has been through e-mail despite filling out their forms. I've done this at least three different times for various reasons and have never had an e-mail response or follow up phone call in response to my inquiries. If you need to talk with Byram Healthcare just call them and be patient with them.

Byram Healthcare needs serious help…
Byram Healthcare needs serious help with their process and client communication. The lack of communication between their organization and the patients they serve is quite possibly the worst I have ever experienced. What makes it so bad? It doesn't happen at all. They do not communicate, leaving individuals, like me with Type 1 Diabetes, without the equipment they order for extended periods of time. The first time I ordered it took approximately 1.5 months. Why so long? I was never given an explanation. I had to call Byram to find out what was going on, multiple times. As a newly diagnosed Type 1 diabetic, my doctor educated me on the Dexcom G6, and Dexcom said I needed to order from Byram. 1.5 months and multiple phone calls later I finally received the first order. The second time I ordered I coordinated through multiple phone calls between Byram, my endocrinologist and my insurer to proactively ensure shipping of my supplies occurred according to schedule, learning from the first situation. That was not enough for them to delay the order, again. I called the day it was to ship out and this was two weeks AFTER I performed their job for them ensuring the doctor and the insurance company provided them with the authorizations they required. After being told they had a delay on their end, it will now ship and arrive after my last sensor expires. Reason for the delay? Transmitters were not authorized for this order. Why did they not call or email me to let me know? They just sat there and did nothing. If I did not follow up with them, it would never have been edited or processed. It would have just delayed in perpetuity. I guarantee I will have to call first thing Monday morning to ensure they did their job, once again, otherwise, who knows...I have already informed my insurance company and filed a grievance and asked if there is anyone else in network I can order supplies from that is not Byram. I will also be contacting Dexcom to let them know their customers deserve better.

If I could give this company less than…
If I could give this company less than one star I would. Most of their employees are incompetent. If you call them because you have a problem with an order you can plan on sitting on hold for a minimum of an hour, especially if you need nutritional supplies.
You cannot place an order on the website if you have an outstanding balance. I recently paid my most recent bill (a bill for $131.04) by calling their billing dept. as I wanted to know what the bill was for. There is absolutely no indication on their bills as to what you are actually paying for. I ended up paying the bill over the phone using my credit card. I then went on-line to place an order and saw a balance due of something like $27 and some odd cents.
When I called the company to figure out what the problem was I got someone on the line in about 10 -15 minutes, but since the supplies were nutritional supplies that person had to transfer me and I would have hat to sit on hold for an additional 45 - 50 minutes. Their completely automated voice mail system does not give you the option of going directly to their nutritional department so you always get transferred. I had to be someplace and did not have the time or patience to deal with another 45 min. on hold and turned the phone over to my husband to deal with.
Big mistake! He wasn't sure what he needed to order so he just went by what the employee suggested which included a bunch of stuff we did not need. When I got home and found out what happened I called them back, sat on hold for a good hour and was told by the same guy my husband had placed the order with that I could not cancel any part of the order as it had already left their warehouse. If I accepted the items I did not need I would have to pay for the shipping to return them. The items not needed were 240 cartons of IsoSource, a nutritional supplement for feeding tubes. One case of 24 cartons of this stuff weighs over 15 lbs! You can imagine what the shipping charges would be!
The order clerk told my husband the shipment would arrive within 1-2 days. The order was placed a day ago and I have yet to receive a tracking email from the delivery place as to when the order will be delivered. If you have bothered to read the entirety of this review I believe you can see the dilemma this horrible company has put us in.
Byram's delivery people do not always come up to the front door, they often just drop the boxes off where ever they feel like, so I have had to rope off our front steps with a note to the delivery person advising them that we are rejecting part of the order.
