This is the second time i contacted BYRAM for an issue not resolved yet. Wrong ostomy bags were sent and various items I did not request -- and I've been billed for them! I had requested return labels for the items to be returned and after almost three weeks have not received the shipping labels. When I called a second time and spoke to Paloma she didn't comprehend the problem. She put me on hold and after 15 minutes waiting for her response, I simply ended the call. The next step i will take is file the issue with Medicare as fraud because Byram is attempting to get paid for rong items which I never requested and they're making it very hard for me to resolve it. If they send the bill to collections I will file a court case against them as well as notify Kaiser about their unprofessionalism and reluctance to resolve problems they're at fault for. This supplier should not even be in business due to their ineptitude and unscrupulous practices.

I have repeatedly told the company that I no longer need the medical supply that they were sending me, but they continue to bombard me with "reminders". To me this borders on Medicare fraud. They and my HMO should be ashamed of these practices.

Poorly trained employees about ostomy bags!!
Much frustration receiving the wrong bags. Recent deliveries were bags w/wrong size pre-cut opening to fit around stoma and shocked to see bags without a bottom opening to empty the bag! They're not listening carefully enough to what a patient is asking for, and when I asked to speak to a manager, was told the employee works from home and there's no supervisor to get on the phone. Very very disappointed that Kaiser is contracting with this company.

AWFUL IS TOO GOOD---FIND ANOTHER SUPPLIER. Customer Service speaks english as a second language and poorly. Billing would rather you call several times before billing errors are corrected IF CORRECTED. I was sent three breast pumps instead of CGM Supplies, billing is always incorrect and supplies NEVER arrive on time. AWFUL IS TOO GOOD,

Billed me for multiple thousands of dollars more than they said they would!
UPDATE: After they said they would email me within a week to discuss this issue (from the people who could actually make a decision on it since CS worked overseas and that team is in the US) and that just completely not happening, I decided to contact my state's Attorney General's office who asked for additional details/evidence of what happened, and after a little longer than 2 months, Byram called me one day completely out of the blue saying, "You remember the $900 price we told you it would be, that's how much you're going to have to pay, and we're - I think the phrase she used was 'charging off' the rest"
I attribute this 'change of heart' 100% (rounding) to my state AG's office and <0.5% (rounding to 0) to Byram "choosing" to do the right thing - You know.. Charging someone what you said you would instead of hundreds of % more than that... The ~$1,000 doesn't come out of my max out-of-pocket for insurance though... so realistically, practically speaking, at the end of it all, they are demanding that I pay that $1,000 twice - once to them, and once in medication (I'm diabetic remember, and they know this, obviously) later in the year. So my costs for the year for those medications will be over $900 more than they would have been had the pump just gone through my insurance like it would have if they did their job / the thing they said they were going to do / the thing they said they *did do*...
And checking my insurance now it looks like that will be hitting me for the entire month of December instead of those things being covered by my insurance because according to them this $900+ doesn't exist.
//End of Update
With absolutely no communication between a phone call where I permitted an order to proceed under the pretense that it would cost me hundreds of dollars (which they explicitly told me) and today, I received a bill for multiple *thousands* of dollars.
This shouldn't even be legal, much less something we just allow complies to do to people on a regular basis without serious repercussions - you know, something in the magnitude of their executives worrying their entire financial situation is going to be torn down by a single envelope in the mail? Something that would be equivalent to a "normal person" getting a bill for over $3700 MORE than they were told it would be (hundreds of dollars, not thousands).
Then I call billing and they gaslight me saying they wouldn't have told me how much it would be because they wouldn't have any way to know how much it's going to be ahead of time. Call CS and they tell me they *must* have received authorization from my insurance because they don't ship until they do and that they *Always* confirm the amount it's going to be before they ship......
Well Byram, you get to pick, are you intentionally malicious and willing to lie and steal and cheat to make money, or did you make so many systematic mistakes that your left hand doesn't know what your right is doing and your right hand doesn't know what your foot is doing because it's so far in your mouth that you just send out bills for hundreds of percent and thousands of dollars more than you told someone, then billing says that's impossible and hangs up on me, CS says that's impossible (but in the opposite way) and says someone will call me back "after lunch" - that was hours ago... and you're intentionally or maliciously incompetent, because let's be honest with each other, this level of impropriety can only be achieved by upper management knowingly [and it's being ignored in the name of higher profits] or purposefully [and you're just committing what I can only imagine would be criminal acts in the name of higher profits].
You can't call it an accident when you are aware that it's happening.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE
The have messed up my sons orders for ostomy products. I have been faxing everything to them to show that there are no problems, yet they always have another reason I cant place his order. 4 months of arguing with this company for a double ostomys needed items is ridiculous and unhealthy. Was in hold for over an hour with my insurance company doing 3 way call and Byram hung us up.

Keeping far east employed
Received an invoice today for something. There was an outstanding balance of 37.50. The reason given was "INVALID INSURANCE". There was NO indication of what the charge was for. In an attempt to speak with someone to correct the problem, I had to speak to someone whose first language was not English. I had a terrible time trying to understand the rep. After an excruciating experience, I hope the problem has been corrected.

I have had nothing but hassle with…
I have had nothing but hassle with Byram Healthcare from day one for one reason or another first was the fact that it would take them much longer than needed to process my orders for DEXCOM items, finally this issue was worked out and has been somewhat seamless until this month (March 2023) When I placed my order and thought everything was fine however that is not the case, I have been receiving the DEXCOM supplies from Byram for nearly (2) two years and this month I am told that there is an issue with my Secondary Insurance which has not changed for the last (8) eight years, and now I am wondering whether I am going to receive my supplies in time that I will be able to change my sensor and not have a lapse of monitoring time.
Bottom line is the customer service is horrible and being able to speak to someone who can actually help you is not happening, you will get to speak to someone that has no clue and will read from their screen giving you the block answer and if you are like my husband and request to speak to a supervisor well be prepared to be completely disappointed with that event as well my suggestion is if you have the opportunity and option to select a different provider of your Diabetic supplies i.e. Dexcom do so, I do not recommend this organization at all.
