Byram Healthcare Delays
I placed an order to Byram Healthcare on July 5, 2023 when I had 10 days before my diabetes supplies ran out. I heard nothing from Byram and expected my order to arrive. The day before my supplies ran out on July 14, I called Byram and was told that my account was on hold pending information regarding my insulin pump date of purchase, model number and serial number. No one contacted me to tell me that this information was needed for my order to be processed. I provided the information on July 14 and my order was processed. By this time I was out of sensors for my continuous glucose monitor. Yesterday I was notified by text that some of my order is being shipped, but that supplies are backordered, including the sensors that I am most in need of. This means another delay. Once the supplies are received at their warehouse, they will be shipped in "5-7 business days." Byram was unable to tell me how long I will have to wait for my backordered supplies. I have made numerous phone calls and have been disconnected twice. I have done two live chats without satisfaction. This is not the first time I have had deliveries from Byram delayed and have gone without supplies, but this is the longest and most frustrating. If they could reach out and contact me about my orders being on hold pending information from me, these problems could be resolved. Instead, I have to follow-up on my orders daily to make sure they are being processed and shipped. The people at the call center have been mostly helpful, except for the two times they hung up on me. I have been polite and moderate in my tone and language.
