The website was easy to use, and the background check helped me be comfortable with the random roommate situation. I was assisted by Andres who reached out promptly, contacted my potential roommates (who were open to meeting me), and continued to help me adjust my lease until it worked for me. I had the opportunity to see the place and found it was bright and clean, but the room I was interested in was smaller than I thought—luckily, there was a bigger room available, and I’m excited to move in soon.

Renting an entire home with Bungalow has allowed me to live close to work while still having my privacy. The move-in process was seamless, and the support team has been incredibly helpful and responsive.

Reclaiming the deposit from them seems like an unattainable dream; they fabricate reasons to withhold it. Despite vacating the room on December 31st and providing photographic evidence of its cleanliness, the bungalow unjustly charged me $180. This charge resulted from a roommate placing their mattress in my room, a situation exacerbated by the bungalow's refusal to acknowledge their illegal entry. When confronted, they directed me to inquire about the charge from the same roommate who reported the unauthorized entry. Astonishingly, the bungalow apologized to the roommate for the breach. It becomes apparent that, due to my non-customer status, they are unwilling to return the money without providing any substantial reasons. Additionally, they imposed extra charges of $140 for monthly cleaning and $110 for move-out cleaning. It is advisable to steer clear of Bunglow to avoid falling into such traps.

My roommate and I should've known from the beginning this company was irresponsible. The first few days we moved in, the property lost hot water and it took four days for Bungalow to find a responsible contractor to come fix the problem. All of the support is outsourced beyond their Florida team. I never spoke to the same person twice, often calling back within 5 minutes only to speak to someone completely different. I do not trust this company to respond well to their tenants. Lastly, BEWARE THEIR MOVE-OUT CLEANING FEE. It was proposed to me as an expected expense, but upon further review of the lease, it was an optional expense. By the time this was discovered, it was too late for me to opt-out. THEN, 4 DAYS AFTER MOVING OUT, they added utilities and extra expenses to our ledger without informing us. 0/5 stars if I could. Find a local leasing company, don't source from people whose offices are based in Florida.

I wish I could give 0 stars, even negative stars………… We reported a rodent issues on a Monday and specifically asked for an exterminator. Wednesday maintenance came out stating they needed an exterminator (obviously, it’s a rodent issue). Maintenance was nice and offered to call an exterminator but there was zero follow up. Thursday night I had to ask when an exterminator was coming and we didn’t hear anything until Friday night. It is now Sunday and we found A SQUIRREL living in the walls. Mind you the squirrel is living behind the gas oven and actively chewing everything it sees… Called after hour support and said to wait until business hours on a Tuesday.
