I ordered 2 toilet parts online on a Mon night, it was filled on Tues. and they arrived that Wed!! Talk about an amazing response. I was most impressed.

I've been a customer here since 2015, I've purchased over $15K worth of items. I received a toilet which was cracked and it got lost in shuffle and never made it back to build when they issued the return 2 years ago. Now I am moving out, tried to call them to process the return and they insist on being unable to find a solution for me due to the age. They cannot even find me the actual tank which is cracked, so I can replace. AS I loyal customer I am Super disappointed in this response and unfortunately they've lost my business forever.

The worst online people I have used. Never again.

I understand that only people who have some sort of problems write these reviews. But let me say that my toilet tank cracked, Briggs 1440 tank. I went to the site of the company and they forward customers to buy their products to plumberssupply.ca I never saw a worse webpage than in the link above. These guys live in the past. Then I found out that a company called proflo produces tanks that are compatible with the briggs tank. The main issue is the 6 inches bolts to bolt distance to attach it to the bowl. That is when I landed in build.com. They had the product there for 50 dollars (in other places like cheaptoilet. . or plumbing supply it costs ~ 80 dollars + 25 dollars shipping). On build.com I got free ups shipping. I ordered it Sunday night, May 17, 2020, and got it, via ups, in Plano Texas on Tuesday, May 19, at noon! In one of the reviews below somebody said that the tank would come without a lid. But I got the tank with lid + flushing parts already installed within the tank. I was scared while I waited for the tank because the reviews for build.com are terrible. I entered build.com chat on Monday and I was told that I would get the shipment on time. And they have honored it. Gentlemen, it is very easy to complain, but one should also praise when all goes well. As of May 19, 2020, I can only say good things about build.com. Congratulations guys. That was an excellent experience. Tank PROFLO PF5112M is installed and works great. Even better than the original Briggs 1440, which costs a fortune elsewhere, god knows why.

Not happy with their communication and follow up. They make a promise and once it leaves their facility they do not check on it unless you call to see where it is. They make a promise to have it delivered on a certain date and nothing is done to make that happen. When the product was not delivered when promised the answer was...."that was the supplier's fault" and that leaves me with an angry customer and two lost days of work.

I ordered an $899.00 shower enclosure from build.com through amazon. The item was late in delivery so I reached out to build.com and they abruptly informed me that my item had already been shipped back to them because of my failure to contact their shipping carrier. They also informed me that I owed 150.00 of shipping charges to them and that they would not be sending me a full refund. No call from their shipping company at all. The fact that they blame a customer for not contacting their method of delivery by taking the item back and charging a fee is ridiculous. Not only is it terrible customer service, but I only heard about it after reaching out for a late item. I have reported their behavior to amazon and highly discourage anyone from dealing with this company.

Not a legitimate company. I was prepared to buy all plumbing/fixtures from them since they have such a great selection and seemingly professional website, and inquired about their financing option which seemed a little sketchy on reading the fine print. They couldn’t answer a simple question, which prompted me to research their reviews. When their reviews turned out poor, I continued pursuing my inquiry with an agent and their “Comenity Bank” via email. I checked back in every day for a week for an answer from the “finance department” but the answer was always “I’m sorry on delay to you. There is no update on your order.” Total scam website. Do not order from this crap company.

Really good selection of everything for home. However I was a little disappointed to find out that they wouldn't provide extra discount if I purchased everything for 5 bathrooms from them
