worst customer service experience EVER. Ordered exterior doors hardware and it was back ordered 3 times making installation of doors impossible. Customer service raps were rude and when I was finally referred to the office of the president, she was equally as unpleasant and basically told me that she didn't care how I reviewed her business. Do not shop here, take it from adventure dissatisfied customer

Looks like I'm far from alone on this but they will ship you damaged or defective product and then stick you with it. Half of my $7,000 appliance order arrived destroyed. They wouldn't do anything about it so instead of saving a few bucks I got to go to a local store and buy another $3,500 of the same appliances. Very expensive lesson.

Placed order for an item showing 412 in stock, ship in 2-3 days. Got back-order for 21 days, can't wait. Tried to cancel less than 24 hours after placing, after over 30 minutes on hold was told order in process can't be cancelled. I'm calling my CC company next to stop payment.Horrible service!

Horrible Experience. I purchased a dishwasher which was determined to have a defect after installed. Once it was installed it was leaking water and we would not have determined the leak unless it was installed. BUT since the dishwasher got installed they would not replace or return. They left me with a defective $1600 dishwasher. If you buy from build.com plan for the product to be yours, whether it's working or not. I found multiple reviews online with similar experience. I have a whole house reno to do and will not be using build.com. A $1600 lesson for me, but costing the company thousands more because they have lost my business for good.

We purchased an Anzzi faucet through Build. The faucet, despite the price, is very poor quality and started leaking and failed within 9 months of install. We contacted Build and they referred us to the manufacturer. When the manufacturer was totally unreachable by email or phone, we reached out to Build again and explained the issue, we bought a product through Build and could not get a response from the manufacturer. Build reiterated that they are unwilling to do anything to assist, as it had been more than 3 months since the purchase. Their total refusal to stand behind products they sell should discourage you from shopping with them.

I purchased a toilet on the Amazon Market Place from Build.com. I was waiting for delivery by following the info on my Amazon account. Info stated that the toilet would be delivered 9/17/20. When checking tracking, none was available. After not receiving my toilet by 9/22/20, I contacted seller thru Amazon's website. Was informed that the item was returned because I had not contacted the carrier to set up a delivery. I was also charge $150 for the return shipping. I said I was never contacted. Found out that this was incorrect, and they had sent me an email on 9/7/20 stating I needed to contact the carrier. The email was titled Amazon Market Place, and I overlooked it. I do take partial blame for this, but am very, very disappointed that Build.com made a minimal effort to contact me. One email, no phone call, no text. I have purchased multiple large items thru Amazon and never had this occur. I learned my lesson, and will never purchase direct from Build.com, and will make sure to check the seller on Amazon, to make sure I never purchase from them again.

I ordered two toilets for a home I’m purchasing is a different state. The toilets both said “ships in 3-6 weeks” so I did what I thought was the smart thing and ordered them 2.5 weeks ahead of my move-in date. The very next day I got a shipping notice! I called immediately to see what could be done (cancel, reroute, delay delivery) so that I would actually be present at the house to receive them. Build.com offered ZERO help and ZERO options to correct a mistake caused by erroneous information provided by them! I’m hoping the sellers of my house will still be there to sign for the packages and if not I guess I’m out over $700 because I know a “return to sender” won’t work out in my favor. NEVER buying from them again and I had planned to purchase many items for my remodel.

If I could rate them at zero I would. Wanted to purchase a downdraft oven, thought that's what I was purchasing, it was a cooktop surface. Build.com would not take back saying that the manufacturer, Jenn-Air, would not accept returns, so I was stuck with trying to sell this, finally did on eBay. Moral of the story, pay close attention to what you're looking at and what the return policy is because it varies by the item. Customer service will not help, they are horrible.
