Terrible customer service. I purchased the wrong fans due to a deceptive picture. Called and explained the issue. Was told that they would have to throw the fans away since it was passed the return window (mind you still sell the fans). I explained that I just needed to exchange for fans that had a light. Was told sorry, maybe you can list them on eBay or something. Terrible service.

Ordered two days ago, still can't even get the order past the hold status as they are waiting for their finance team to approve something however all info is valid and working with my credit card. They overcomplicate their backend it seems

This website is very shady. Don't trust them. I ordered an OVER THE DOOR shelving unit. Their website said there were 900 available. 12 hr later, I get an email that it's backordered, but I might replace it with another model. I went to their website and said I NEED over the door, so please cancel the order. I even asked Michael (chat person) if there would be a problem canceling . He said No because the backorder put shipping off for 10 days. The day after I requested cancellation, I received an email that the order shipped. Hmmm. Well, it arrived today and it has to be screwed on the door, not OVER THE DOOR. I went to the website and "They can't accept returns from guests". They still show exactly what I want on their website, but I would not order from them if they were the only place on earth to get what I want. They are nothing but scam artists!

We ordered a faucet that was supposed to be delivered within 2 weeks. 6 weeks later we still did not receive the faucet. They don't answer their phones and their chat was a robot. Their customer service is not terrible its nonexistent. We will never make a purchase from buikd.com again.

The Customer Service Dept. SUCKS! Basically they dont have a Customer Service Dept. All the other reviews are accurate!

Terrible shipping partner (R&L Carriers) and even worse customer service. My shipment arrived with two of the three boxes severely damaged. One even said “FRAGILE GLASS” on it. I was unable to be there when the shipment arrived but called as soon as I saw the condition of the boxes. After waiting over 15 minutes on hold a CS rep told me I could open the packaging and if anything was damaged they would take care of it. Didn’t check an order number, didn’t take down any information just said to call back. Well guess what, the fixed panel of the shower door was completely shattered. Follow-up call went on hold and was disconnected after about 30 minutes. Tried the online chat and was disconnected as well. Called the credit card company and disputed the charge. They can call me with a resolution on my time. Apparently they have a lot of customer complaints to deal with.

Website navigation is terrible. Also not up to date. One of the items I ordered was discontinued which changed the order because the rest was chosen to match. Nearly impossible to reach On the phone. Waited for an hour (so far) on hold to change shipping address. “Live chat” is automated so no help if your problem isn’t one of the 5 listed.

On the site 45 minutes to place order. Site and customer service said the product would ship in 4-7 days. Inventory had 7 pieces available. An email said my shipping address was wrong. It was not. Another 50 minutes on hold to resolve. Immediately resolving the issue. I received a message that product was delayed a month and a half longer. Recap: wrong info on site And by customer service to get you to place the order. Poor customer service After the fact. Downright lies. Incompetence. God bless capitalism.
