I called to inquire about a product online. The customer service representative was extremely rude. When I was trying to give him the information that I was looking at online, he kept cutting me off and wouldn't listen. I could barely give him the product number. When he finally found the product, he couldn't answer any of my questions. He then hung up on me without asking if I needed further help. Wow! If this is how they are when trying to find info on a product, I won't be doing any business with them.

Customer Service is awful. They shipped a broken item and will not replace it or refund us the money. They told us we had to work with the manufacturer. Their customer service was less than willing to provide any solutions or work with us to figure out what to do. The customer service agent was even very short and had no sense of empathy in regards to the situation. We will never shop at Build.com again.

Horrible customer service. Also, if you order a "complete" system like a shower system or sliding glass door, Build.com wont ship you that system. Instead, they break it down into component parts and ship them from different sites at different times. I ordered a Delta shower system and this happened to me. Customer Service could not help me confirm that the parts someone pulled from a warehouse and shipped to me were the correct parts, so I called DELTA. AVOID BUYING FROM BUILD.COM and AFFILIATE SITES (i.e. FAUCETDIRECT).

Such horrible, unaccomodating customer service. They tried to refund less than my purchase price for an item that arrived damaged, and wanted me to pay return shipping, and representatives were very rude in the process. I will never buy from build.com or their affiliates, including Ferguson, faucets.com, etc. They keep buying other companies up. I was so dissappointed to find they purchased supply.com recently.

Terrible service and even worse delivery system. Their shipping company is one of the worst deliver companies that I've seen. They need to change their shipping company to make it more accurate and customer friendly.

I called in to order some cabinet door hinges. I specifically asked if the installation hardware came with the hinges. This customer service representative put me on hold then came back and said they did come with. I ordered 60 hinges. They were delivered without the screws. I called their customer service and was then told the screw did not come with, they had to be ordered separately. When I explained what the representative told me when I ordered the hinges. This customer service representative said "sorry, how do you want to pay for the screw?" Unwilling to do anything to help me due the the miss information provided by the original customer service representative.

Unprofessional. Cancelled my order without even consulting with me first.

I ordered an air conditioner and wall sleeve to replace an existing failed ac unit. the ac and sleeve each came in separate boxes and each had a different part number. the new ac was a perfect fit into the existing wall sleeve. Ferguson refused to issue an RGA for the unopened and unused wall sleeve. I wrote them twice and the second time received no response. I will never do business with them again. very poor customer service
