The watch looks great but within two weeks of ownership it began to lose time. No problem in returning it to company, their response was good and it was returned to them, fixed, sent back to me in good time and it worked well. A couple of years later it is losing significantly again. Outside warranty. A great shame, as it is a lovely looking watch. I wouldn't say that was an 'acceptable' experience but they did respond very quickly, it's just the watch isn't up to the hype.

I bought the minimalist stainless steel for $185. Beautiful watch, but after 10 months the hour hand was between the numbers when the minute hand was at the 12. I never saw a watch do this before. I returned the watch and it took them over 2 months to send me a replacement. While I was waiting I asked for a full refund but was told I had only 30 days to get a refund. I'm currently waiting for UPS ground delivery of my replacement watch even though the company said said they shipped it priority (UPS ground is NOT priority). Even though I'm getting a brand new watch there is no new warranty with it. My warranty is the original purchase date which means this brand new watch will have a warranty of one month. I don't expect this sort of crappy quality for a $185 watch. My $50 Timex is still working perfectly after more than 2 years. Once the Brathwait fails again (and I'm sure it will) I will go back to Timex. My advice is to avoid this watch company at all costs.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE BACKGROUND ON BRATHWAIT NOT ISSUING MY REFUND I have reached out to Brathwait at least ten times and have the complete email chain on file. I purchased two watches online from them. Both paid through PayPal. Only one was delivered. Both watches were purchased within the span of 20 mins. I then emailed them within 20 mins. to cancel both orders. Brathwait would only allow me to cancel one of the orders because according to them….”the one watch was out of stock.” They would not let me cancel the 2nd watch ordered stating that “it had already been shipped or in the shipping que.” This on its face is ludicrous because it was during evening hours and there is no way that the watch was already shipped within ## mins. of ordering the product. USED USPS TO MAIL BACK THE WATCH I returned the watch to them in a timely fashion using the pre-paid, self-addressed shipping label they provided via email. I also paid for a Signature upon delivery and Insurance due to the fact that the watch cost me $185 and wanted to make sure that if it was lost I wouldn’t lose me money. I also wanted to make sure it was signed for by the company so I’d have proof that it was indeed received to Brathwait. All was done through the USPS. Finally I had to call PayPal for an escalated claim for Brathwait to refund my money. And lesson 24 hours Brathwaite refunded my money. Funny how they moved so quickly after complaint was made. ***Dont Buy *****Ordered the Swiss Automatic, it's a nice watch but it took 6 months for delivery. The communication was non existence. At first the watch ran about 30 seconds a day fast now it runs about 45 seconds slow.

In the mist of minimalist watches. This is absolutely the best bang for your bucks!

Reading the reviews I can see why there are quite a few unhappy people. The website is definitely not a scam but they were very slow in delivering the watch I ordered. I had to chase on multiple occasions however each time I was given an update by Veronica (support@) unfortunately the expected date of delivery kept on getting pushed back due to their watch inspection process. As compensation they give me a free watch strap and eventually send both the watch and strap very fast DHL express service. I was contacted by DHL USA customs requesting a payment of $18 to which I was informed by Veronica that they state on their website that the customer may have to cover custom and excise fees. Fortunately DHL send my order without payment in the end. So perhaps very lucky in this situation. I ordered the liberty datekeeper. Overall so far the watch is lovely and sapphire glass face is high quality. The leather strap also of good quality. The leather strap has been described as dark grey but in fact its a light grey.

Got the classic dark brown one in gold for 4 years now! Still enjoy it everyday!! Leather strap is getting a more worn look, might need to replace it soon. Battery was also replaced after 3 years. I don't mind. Also got a nato strap for summer time, which is still in new conditions. Customs taxes are little bit unpredictable, but guess it's lot of work for a small company to include this in their own administration, so I just got the invoice from the national tax office, which was about what I expected from the tax office website. Still got many compliments and thinking about buying one for my brother! :D

Tried to make a purchase and found out what I bought was actually out of stock (even though the site said otherwise). Brathwait made no contact with me to let me know until I reached out to customer service after my order was already three weeks late. I then asked for a refund but they refused because they insisted they had already shipped it however it was over a month and a half and my purchase still hadn't arrived. They did nothing to reimburse me and it took over 2 months before I got my purchase which was supposed to arrive 3 days after purchase. Would reccomend steering clear of this company.
