Was expecting more. I read reviews on their site and they were all good (that was before I found more true reviews online. First, I was let down by the hat itself...I was expecting more. It wasn't awful but definitely didn't feel any better then flat caps I've gotten for half the price. Second they really kill you on shipping and then also charge a restocking fee. Third, the sizing was way off. The hat, a large, barely fit over the top of my head. It was sized for a child. They only give you 14 days to return, but it's from the date of purchase, but they used shipping that took 10 days to reach me, virtually assuring me I can't return it for a refund. They are a pretty customer unfriendly company.

Sizing is terrible. Xl is too big and M/L is extremely tight. Why is there no “large” size? Also, they are made in China people! Why can’t they make them in the U.S? The price is too high for a hat that doesn’t fit well and they market it as an American product….really disappointed

Thought I was getting a quality product and when I opened the box I was sadly mistaken. The three hats I ordered were really low quality like $5 Amazon hats. Turns out they are 90-85% polyester and only 10-15% wool! They claim they are wool hats!! What a scam. These hats are also made in CHINA… they try and hide it has made in PRC. Their company is BOSTON SCALLY CO. Yet there’s nothing Boston about them! There is no shop in Boston, the owners aren’t from Boston, they’re not made in Boston and they don’t even originate from Boston the hat themselves. This company is a sham. These hats are at best costing $5 each and they’re selling them for $50 or more. Loose threads, uneven seems, inaccurate sizing etc.. Avoid this hat brand. The only good thing about them is the pictures on the website. Once you get the hat in person it’s a whole different story.

I ordered my first cap from Boston Scally and am thrilled with the purchase. My cap arrived within the same week I ordered & the fit (if you follow their chart) is just the perfect size. I found the quality to be good although the actual color of the cap is slightly lighter than the on-line photo. I’m planning to making another purchase today for the “Brawny” flannel version.

Garbage company. They failed to follow trough with a delivery, and blamed me for my "inability to track down the package." I asked for either a refund, or the another hat to be delivered and they refused. This is the closest I've ever seen to Victim Blaming form an actual company. Pathetic. Avoid them at all costs.

Hats are never true to size. Customer service is poor, customer satisfaction is non existent.

So a family member got me a scally cap for my birthday all I wanted to do was exchange for a smaller size they denied it saying it was past the 30 day mark! Ok so I liked the hat so much I bought 9 I received 6 and 3 usps claims they delivered it I emailed them and to my surprise they wanted me to do all the leg work for them that’s what I get!!! So I informed them they never helped I then asked them worst case what can we do to rectify this ? Basically said to me too bad so sad for you I will wait the 3 business days and then I will inform my bank to put stop payment I will not be doing future business with them!!!!!

I love the design of the caps but they have terrible customer service. I've bought maybe 20+ caps from them, got one that just didn't fit, and emailed them 5 days past the return for an exchange. You would think after I bought so many they would be friendly about it given I said the cap literally looked new, still had the inside cardboard, etc... but instead, they sent a semi-rude email. They need to let someone take over customer support. You built a good product, now stand behind it, make returns easy/simple for customers, and update that horrible freaking website for petes sake you clearly are making money here, step it up. After this last email from customer support being jerky to me I won't be buying more hats. Every freaking hat should ship with a return label. Your sizing is NOT consistent enough to not do this. Great job Boston Scally customer support... I literally bought piles of your hats and your poor customer service made me stop. How silly. You loose return customers. Good luck with that long term.
