Sales person lied and bookvip won't refund

Sales person said that my fiancée and I qualified for package even though my fiancée had attended a sales presentation over twelve months prior. This was part of the qualification process on a RECORDED call. We bought the vacation package for $548.90. Flew to Cabo and during check in while scheduling the meeting for the sales presentation the next morning they asked us as part of the qualification process again if either of us had ever attended. We told them yes about my fiancée. Now that we were in Mexico we didn't qualify according to them. Ended up finding an expensive room at another hotel at 10 pm at night. Bookvip' answer to this is that we accepted the terms and conditions email that stated somewhere in the fine print that neither of us could have EVER attended a presentation. Shame on us for not going over the email terms and condition with a magnifying glass. SHAME ON BOOKVIP FOR LYING TO US ON THE PHONE WHEN WE BOUGHT THIER WOTHLESS OFFER. Buyer beware!!!!

Dear Randi, We looked into this matter and found that you confirmed on both the recorded sales call with BookVIP, and on the recorded Welcome Call with Sandos resort, that it was your first time visiting the resort. It was not discovered until you arrived at the resort that you had previously toured the property and as a result, were in violation of the Terms and Conditions governing your vacation package. Our special promotional packages are sponsored by the resorts and the rooms are discounted up to 77% because the resort is subsidizing the room. The resort sets forth certain eligibility requirements for these packages. All qualifications, resort fees, taxes, deposits and penalties are clearly stated on the Terms and Conditions governing each vacation package – everything is written in a normal business font and easy to read and understand – not fine print. The Terms and Conditions are located at the bottom of each resort offering page on our website, and are reviewed with the customer during the sales call. The customer must accept and agree to the Terms and Conditions via electronic signature before any reservation is final and the travel dates sent to the resort. Indeed, In addition, it is clearly stated (in normal font) on the Terms and Conditions that You are not eligible if you have previously attended a presentation at Sandos]. BookVIP could not have known that you previously attended a presentation at the resort. That being said, we have made several attempts to contact you to discuss some options you may be interested in and await your response. Our bookVIP.com trip to Omni Resort Cancun, Mexico was great. It was our honeymoon and everything turned out amazing. The hotel was VERY clean. Everyone working there was so so nice and went above and beyond to make our stay pleasant, the service was the best we've ever had. All inclusive is the way to go. The food was awesome and delicious. We couldn't have asked for a better stay. We're so happy we decided to book this trip

Fabulous vacation
2 bedroom condo was clean and cozy loved everything about it. Setting up vacations was fairly easy and no problems once got to Gatlinburg.

Best value vacation ever
We went on the best all-inclusive vacation that we have ever done and it was the least expensive. The 2 hour presentation was 1 1/2 hour of pleasant conversation and tour followed by 20 minutes of a pitch to buy in to more of the same exclusive vacation club. We did not buy in and they very professionally thanked us and wished us well.

Excellent Experience
This was my first BookVIP.com experience. The experience was excellent from booking all the way through to the end of the vacation. The resort was well represented on-line, from transportation, food and accommodations. I would recommend others give it a try.
