BookvipReviews of bookvip.com

I do not recommended this website because I do not want to be hated for that recommendation. I booked a trip through them about 7 weeks before our vacation. However, 5 days before the vacation, we were still struggling to find out which hotel and what room our reservation was for and could not find an answer. How stressful it is! Here are some main reasons I do not recommend BOOKVIP. 1. We saw their plan online and saw "free cancellation" then called them as required after payment. Then we were told we would not get full refund if cancel the trip, part of the payment will be held by them as "credit" to use later. So basically, it's not a lie about "free cancellation". 2. For part of the plan, we were obligated to attend a presentation to get the discount. It was said and written as a "2 hour presentation". However, it was 3 hours and a half, wasted a whole half day of our vacation. The product they tried to sell on the presentation was very expensive, we were not planning to purchase right there and then, the representatives just kept asking "why do you not plan to buy now" again and again after we told them "no". 3. We purchased and paid to Bookvip and another company named "Monster" called us back with our information to operate our reservation. They could not explain why, when we called Bookvip, Bookvip staff said they didn't know "Monster" and told us not to trust them. At the end, still "Monster" operated our reservation but in the middle, we had to make 20-30 phone calls and spent hours and hours to make things clear and go through, Bookvip didn't help NOTHING! Above are the 3 main reasons that I do not recommend Bookvip without mentioning little problems such like they got the vacation dates wrong, got the room type wrong, etc. I think Bookvip could save 100 dollars on your vacation, however, the time you wasted on them really worth more than that. And if you do not pay 120% attention (like if we didn't find out they made our vacation dates wrong), they may ruin your vacation easily. By the way, their price does not include tax, so not really save that much.

Bookvip was awesome to deal with before we took our trip, with the whole traveling and making sure I had what I needed for my trip. But their aftercare, is just ridiculous! They want nothing to do with their customers after you've been on your trip. Trying to get the Amazon gift card they promised me is like trying to pull teeth! Don't know that I'd recommend to anyone after this whole experience is complete, especially now that they have called me and asked me to take my review down!

i read too many negative opinion for Bookvip , maybe i don't use that service.

My spouse and I just cancelled our recently booked trip on BookVip because we just found out after speaking to one of their representatives that we DO NOT QUALIFY for this trip because of these reasons 1) We have already been to this hotel on many occasions [but never attended one of these long presentations] 2) This promotion is only for first time visitors 3) MUST Attend a 90 - 120 minute vacation ownership presentation at Krystal Cancun 4) You and your spouse MUST meet the AGE limitations (30 - 70 yrs old) and 5) You must meet the minimum income threshold (i.e. If legally Single Women 32-60 old with annual income of $45,000.00 USD or greater. 6) If bringing a guest, it MUST be immediate family member ONLY, not friends. Single women are not eligible for Group Travel. 7) Single men do not qualify.

We enjoyed our six days in Mexico due to the attitude of the down to earth people we met who served us meals and assisted us, even the vacation share people were nice and I actually enjoyed the presentation! However, management was very inefficient and not at all detailed oriented except to charge us an extra 750 dollars for a violation of a term in the contract that we never received prior to leaving on the vacation. Actually, we never did receive this document under the reservation name! We found the front UVC personnel a bit uncooperative and unreasonable to our situation.

Unfortunately, I did not do that. That is not their fault. However, I am extremely disappointed in their policy. On the call back from booking what I thought was going to be a great little getaway for our anniversary, I was told I did not qualify. I met every single one of their terms and conditions except for annual income. I only wanted to rent a room, not buy a timeshare or whatever it is they were offering. Even if I did meet the annual income policy, I would not have wanted to endure a 90 minute sales pitch or a tour of the facility. I just wanted to go away for a few days with my husband. So VERY, very disappointed.

I booked a reservation with bookvip.com on 3-7-2016. After I entered all of the necessary info including my payment info I was redirected to a screen that basically informed me that the process was complete. I also noted a number to call. I have made many reservations and this one was by far an awful experience. I never recieved an email of my reservation or any type of confirmation after entering all my info. I called the company and explained that I was concerned and wondered why I didn't recieve an email verifying my reservation and my payment or explanation at all of my transaction with this booking. When I questioned about verifying the price I was being charge and what I was paying for the deposit, the first gentlemen explained to me that in order to secure my date I had to pay the whole amount and not just a deposit. The deposit only secures the booking for that price. I explained that I wasn't clear on that from the website and this among not recieving any type of confirmation about the booking and deposit I wanted to cancel my reservation. He told me ok he would cancel it and I asked to recieve a confirmation that it was canceled via email and he stated he would transfer me to the necessary dept. That's when the nightmare started. I was on hold for at least 20 minutes and then my fiancé called on his phone. We both spoke with a total of 5 different people and when asked to speak with a manager or supervisor they wanted to know if they could help. Sure but their help was only to put us on hold again and we never spoke with anyone that was identified as a manger or supervisor. Finally a rep told me I had to call another number because this dept didn't handle cancelations. Hmmm so why did the first gentleman state he would cancel it and direct me to the dept when I asked for a confirmation. Noone knew why. We asked for the rep's names and they were in such a hurry to place us on hold we often didn't get a name. My last phone call of the night to this company I spoke with a gentleman named Joseph. He started with the same info of how this was the wrong number to call and cancel and I just stopped him and told him I had already heard what he was saying and once again I needed to speak with a manager or supervisor because all I had been doing is being placed on hold and accomplishing nothing of getting this canceled. He informed me that a manager wouldn't be able to help me. Really?!?! Oh and not to mention he was concerned that I would be trying to get him in trouble. Why because I had asked for a supervisor or manager? He gave me a number which I called and left a message to call me back and specifically stated I had been trying to cancel this booking/reservation (for 45 minutes). This morning I called and finally spoke with a lady named Raquel. I told her of my awful experience and wanting to cancel, she apologized. She told me that my reservation had not been processed therefore I did not have one because I didn't call and confirm within 15 minutes. She also stated that my credit card would not be charged. I again asked for a confirmation of canceling via email and she basically stated since I didn't confirm the reservation I had no reservation and wouldn't be charged. I hope not. I explained to her that after the numerous calls placed the night before noone explained this to me and even had a rep to tell me he was canceling my reservation. Too much confusion with this company and dealing with reps that obviously don't know their own policy and I'd rather pay a higher price with someone else other than deal with this.
