The worst bank I’ve ever had left and right it’s problem after problem. I am currently switching over to a different bank because of it. First, they canceled my Card without my authorization. Actually, they canceled after I told them not to and said I would go to the bank and deal with it so that I wouldn’t be without a card. I had three payments that Were marked as paid only to be returned because they said I didn’t have enough money in there, even though I Zelled myself from another account of however they claim i didn’t send it until after the payment. Bill payments I made after the other payments that returned went through and posted.

I wish I had paid any attention to reviews...at all. I transferred money from my personal savings to open a new account with them. I have all the documentation proving the transfer from that account to my new account with BMO. They never credited those funds. I had to file a dispute with my bank...on my time...to be refunded the money they stole from me. They blamed a "third-party" provider. DO NOT bank with them. They misrepresent themselves. It should not be my burden...or my bank's burden, to get back money they have effectively stolen. But that is what I was told...after being hung up on twice.

I had to write a review to make up for all the terrible ones on here because they strike me as unfair. I’ve had accounts at BMO for years and they seem like an average bank to me. I think there are often problems with large corporations in general in terms of communication etc. which may be what people are talking about. Personally I’ve never had a problem with BMO Harris Bank.

They are by far the worst bank I have ever dealt with. Today I tried to make a deposit to my business checking account. Their ATM would not accept deposits. (not the first time there have been issues with their ATMs). I stood in line and when I reached the teller (Ms.Chen at Westborough S.S.F.) I told her the ATM wasn't accepting deposits. No response, Just kind of a snort. Then she questioned the validity of the checks I wanted to deposit . I asked her what the problem was and she said they "looked like copies." I said I had never had problems depositing these checks before and if they didn't want my money I could deposit it somewhere else. Her response "go ahead." I think I'll take her up on that.

Been a member for years, lately service is getting worse and worse. Online banking is down on a weekly basis. All around lousy experiences with BMO .

Worst banking experience ever! I opened an account several years ago, but I did not use it often because the online banking website is awful and the customer service is as well. I recently began using the account and immediately began to receive letters from their Know Your Customer division. I would call them and be forced to explain all of my transactions, only to receive another letter a few weeks later. This happened several times and amounted to near harassment. Then, without any warning, they sent a letter saying they were closing my account. I called and was told that they were not obligated to tell me the reason. The person I spoke with refused to transfer me to a supervisor. I tried to get my funds out of the account before it was closed, but there are no branches near my home. The ATMs that are supposedly BMO affiliated charged a hefty fee, and when I called to ask if there were any ATMs near me that are actual BMO ATMs, I was told to "google it". Overall, terrible customer service and a terrible banking experience!

Awful bank...they can't explain anything. Zelle never works. Nothing makes a bit of sense...no locations outside of Indianapolis...absolute clownshoes!

I'm a BMO Harris customer for over 15years, I recently needed a notary sevice for a simple school form.. I went through the drive up on weber & Taylor. Just wanted to make sure someone was available. I explained I was a customer but my daughter wasn't she went to ask I was told that both of us needed to customers...My daughter has an account at chase but I don't. They were more than happy to help us...looking into transferring some of my if not all my accounts soon...Thank You Chase on Weber..
