painful and uncomfortable
They were polite, but neither of two people could hit my vein just right. It was extremely painful and they left me bruised so I couldn't give again for weeks.

Staff is always there if you need anything. Never had a bad transfer. Space is always clean and tidy. Love going to the Mankato branch as they are all open and welcoming.

Donating at Bio life has been a good experience so far. The staff are very friendly and always answer my questions with a smile. I recommend donating at this Plasma Center

I love the Layton Ut Center and staff. I do not like the new red blood cell loss deferal.. 3 low blood flows you don't get your red blood cells returned and then they defer you for 8 weeks. It's ridiculous. It's forcing whole lot of donors to have unneeded red blood cell losses. There's no reason the red blood cells cannot be returned unless of course there's air bubbles or clots in the line. Before this new rule there were times I could have 8 to 10 low blood flows, get my red blood cells back and everything was just fine. This new rule is causing a lot of donors to not be able to donate and in turn that decreases the donations you receive for much needed plasma.

Today was my 6th donation! The facility I go to is always extremely busy. Everyone from donors to staff is considerate, the facility is clean and questions are answered without hesitation. I’m impressed that I’ve never had a bad “stick” and look forward to my next appointment. I understand things happen, maybe someone has a reaction and staff needs to attend to that individual which may put them behind. Not every visit can be “in and out”. I’m okay if I’m delayed because I know I will get provided the same attention if necessary.
