I've been donating at the Bolingbrook Il location for several months. These people at this location are outstanding! Theyre patient, professional, caring and kind. I sometimes have issues with my veins, nothing new, been an issue my whole life. I fear I am a pain to these ladies everytime I'm there, and everytime I'm there they are so kind with me. They are all great! Special call out to Diana...thank you for your kindness!!

The donation times have gotten longer & longer. Have had multiple incorrect sticks, several hematomas, and TWO Infiltrations. Management is severely lacking and deferring people based on staff not inputting information properly. So donors are being deferred due to staff errors.

My recent visit was unfortunately a less that perfect experience.The technician was new missed my vein and had another technician reposition it; when the machine was doing my return the needle started vibrating sending pain through my arm giving a sensation that my vein was going to rupture when the machine shut down experience technician came over mentioned that the needle was against the wall of my vein so we had to switch to my other arm. My arm has bruised for the 1st time ever keeping me from being able to donate and leaving me in pain for almost 5 days after the donation it’s been 7 days since the occurrence and I’m still bruised..new technicians should probably receive more training before being allowed to stick a donor; for the most part the majority of the state college pa staff are very good and knowledgeable!

For the first time I feel I'm not important to your company. Not getting paid costed me my electricity. Now I have to be without until Tuesday. But thanks for the lovely experience 🙏.

I have donated for over a year now. When I went yesterday, the lady that stuck me infiltrated my vein. Now both arms are so bruised. I told her it hurt when she stuck me, but she didn't fix it. It's super frustrating because I've never had a problem, and it hurt really bad when she did it. For this particular lady, I hope they can give her extra training. It will take weeks now until I can donate again because of the bruising. Also the reason my other arm is bruised is because they had to put the red blood cells in that arm.

On my second donation the person that hooked me up to extract my plasma , can’t even call her a nurse , because clearly she wasn’t. The other person was hooking up the person next to me. He had that look like mmmm something don’t look right. Then proceed to tell me that when I moved my arm I pushed the needle straight through it. I’m like I haven’t moved my arm. That was over ten days ago. I still hurt on my arm. Bruised all up. At least the swelling finally came down. It’s pretty scary that instead of saying sorry or anything try to blame me and traumatized me to the point of I’ve scheduled and missed my appointment three times just because of the fear it would happen again
