I highly recommend BetterHelp, especially when you have the right counselor by your side. I work with Stefanie Johnson and she's been amazing, we discuss everything from personal to professional issues, which is really important in my world right now. She's sincere, genuine, knowledgeable and most important for me, solutions-driven. She doesn't just listen, but asks smart questions and encourages dialogue and recommends ideas, steps and so forth. Highly recommend :)

BetterHelp is the best thing that could have happened to me during this time in our country. They’re algorithm for matching is amazing. My therapist is exactly what I’ve been missing in my healing process & personal development. The platform is easy to use as well.

It took me a lot longer than I'd like to admit to finally try a service like BetterHelp (or in general any sort of counseling service), but after finally trying it, I can clearly see how much of a disservice I did to myself by dragging my feet for so long. BetterHelp has an excellent matching service and an excellent staff of people. The person they matched me with was immediately a great fit for me, for example, and has been a consistent source of support and guidance ever since. Through her I've developed a tool box for the bad days and in general have been able to focus on not just "sticking a band-aid on it", but healing the underlying issues as a whole. I couldn't recommend it enough, to be honest. They have plenty of ways for you to be able to communicate with your counselor based of your comfort level as well, which is a huge plus! I personally enjoy phone calls over video chat so that I can walk while I talk without worrying about a camera, and that works great for me.

I live in a place where there is limited access to help for life’s problems. Betterhelp has enabled me to access excellent counselling for a reasonable price. Although my first counsellor was less than satisfactory, Betterhelp allows you to change counsellors until you find one that is best for you. My second counsellor is perfect. She is conscientious, reliable and knowledgeable. Her personality is kind and compassionate. She is like a wise friend. Betterhelp gives you the opportunity to seek discounted counselling if you are struggling financially. I have learnt the skills needed to address my anxiety and now have the confidence to become active in my life.

Very glad for the safe platform in this covid-19th time. The ability to share with a wonderful counselor safely, and on my schedule is wonderful.

It is nice to have someone to vent to that is very understanding. I feel that if it were necessary, my counselor would be able to recommend a more intensive approach to what my needs were
