I wanted to find some mental health advice during the pandemic, but most of the local offices were functioning in a remote capacity and had long waiting lists. I stumbled upon BetterHelp and found that it would end up costing about the same, but I had access to my therapist pretty consistently. I was matched with a wonderful woman, Vanessa, and she has been a great addition on my mental health journey. I'm appreciative of the flexibility and ease of use with BetterHelp.

I’ve been wanting to seek help for over 10 years and after getting a free assessment at my local mental health facility. I could not afford to see anybody for help. BetterHelp was scary at first as a monthly fee is not easy but i did a trial and I’m so happy I found the my therapist. It was so nice being able to look through and find the therapist that was a match for me. It’s been 2 weeks and I’m for once finally excited about my future and having someone in my corner that I know is only a text away... is such a relief. PLUS the Group sessions AND the worksheets your therapist can send you to work on are amazing!!!

This was a great resource for me when I needed support. Their journaling feature and webinars were very helpful and my counselor was very good. It is very user friendly.

Great way to get access to a professional councillor. They have a good website and an app, appointments can be by phone, video call or messaging, whatever works best. I find it easy and convenient.

I signed up for BetterHelp at a moment when I was feeling very defeated. My therapist immediately got me on track - helped me to define goals, both personal, financial and career. Soon after I received a job opportunity that was challenging and rewarding and I could not have done it without her encouragement. I would recommend my therapist to anyone. Her positive encouragement and goal setting has really helped me get onto a better more productive track.

Unhelpful, also if you cancel your subscription they will still continue to send you emails and messages.

The options for in person sessions and messaging are convenient. I wish there were more billing options. It's not the most affordable.
