Blessing in disguise. I'm a sceptic person by nature but Betterhelp experience has been no short of life changing

Better help has been such a blessing to me in the past year. Losing my job, breaking up with my abusive ex, moving back in with my family has been very stressful. But my therapist has been there for me through it all and idk where I would be without her. The bonus is it's affordable even without insurance.

I struggled coping with covid and having anxiety before I went to counselling. My counsellor taught me techniques and strategies to help me cope with my anxiety. We talked a lot about my ambitions and my future goals I hope to achieve. And now I have the motivation to continue. Over the last few months I’ve noticed myself getting better and feeling different in a good way. I appreciate a lot what my counsellor has done for me and I am happy that I chose BetterHelp to help my anxiety.

Amazing app and people! I have literally seen 6 other counsellors and it is worth paying more for one as you do get an amazing service. I am lucky I can pay for it but I feel like I am well on track to actually sorting myself out. This is partly due to the fact that I am ready and that I have an amazing counsellor!

Finding and joining BetterHelp is probably one of the best decisions I’ve made in a long time! They are super helpful and kind, I would highly recommend it to anyone not feeling like themselves and needing a little help!

I recommend BetterHelp for anyone who needs a check up on their mental health. You don't have to be struggling with anything in particular but just like a check up for your physical health, you should pay equal attention to your mental health.

Maybe I was just eventually (it took forever and I had to request a refund to get the ball rolling) matched with a terrible therapist, but I would not recommend this service. The app itself works okay I guess. I really just feel I wasted $185 for a month of no help. Update: BetterHelp has reached out and provided a full refund, which I appreciate.
