BetterHelp has truly made it easy to seek counseling. It all starts with a short quiz and then you are matched with a counselor. So far I have really enjoyed my sessions and my counselor. Their customer service is also very responsive and helpful in answering questions. This helps reduce the anxiety in seeking help.

Better Help is a huge asset for convenient, affordable therapy. I have had both in person and online therapy and I have found therapy from the comfort of my own home is very helpful as opposed to going to my therapists' office (I do have a private space to talk and I live alone so that is helpful, others may feel differently). The therapists are knowledgeable and dynamic and it is easy to switch therapists if the fit doesn't quite work. I love the flexibility of the platform, messaging/calling/video chat, I have used all three at various times and found them to be very helpful and flexible options. There are also "worksheets" and readings your therapist can give you directly in the platform. I like this because it keeps all my thoughts, progress and reflections in one place as opposed to having pamphlets or handouts floating around my home. BetterHelp also have a financial aid program that reduces the cost if finances are an issue, and I was able to receive therapy with my normal therapist at a reduced cost when I was struggling. I have recommended BetterHelp to dozens of friends and will continue to do so.
