This website allows for a lot of freedom while working with your therapist in terms of scheduling, forms of contact, being able to contact your therapist at any time, etc. Due to being an over-night worker doing shift work, making time to see a therapist in-office is difficult. If you struggle with speaking to people, there's even an option to have text-based sessions with your therapist! I was matched with my therapist very quickly after signing up, and mine has been incredibly helpful to me!! I would highly recommend this to anyone, especially those with difficulty speaking to new people, have odd schedules, or just want the reassurance they can contact a professional when needed!

My experience was great, the website has wonderful tools for both you and your therapist to be innovative. The most joy comes from WHO it is you are working with, and Better Help was able to match me with a therapist Im thankful to have, thus making my experience great. It's scary, I know. But take that chance, try it! It's been good to me.

Most classes and sessions are scheduled on east coast time. Since I'm on the west coast that made all the classes and seminars that I wanted to be part of happen at 7am and impossible to join. The website has quotations sprinkled throughout from neoconservatives like Brian Tracy. betterhelp claims to help LGBTQ+ clients but quotations from founders of think tanks that backed Trump and created Focus on the Family makes betterhelp an unsafe space for LGBTQ+ people.

This platform is a great way for me to receive the help I need and I am grateful for this experience. I live in a rural area with very little opportunity for counseling. Betterhelp has changed that. With the help of counseling, I am making changes that everyone will benefit from.
