BAD EXPERIENCE WITH NICK BUTCHER
BAD EXPERIENCE WITH NICK BUTCHER Nick would not answer my texts, was late to our first session, didn't try to get to know me or my issues, just wanted to push medication on me which I said just a couple minutes in that I was not willing to take. The session was then about how old he was and a long post about what an expert he was, and condescending analogies as he continued to try to push medication on me. Is he reimbursed per prescription he writes? He was typing over me the entire time-the equivalent of interrupting, not reading to respond. I was not given an option for any other format with him, had asked for a female therapist but was told they were low on therapists and so I was keeping an open mind. His response to my question if he was qualified to discuss NPD abuse was "very". He said he was a "solution based" therapist and I asked how he can suggest solutions when he doesn't even know what my issues are? He read only one word "depression" and the only solution for him was "medication". He then suggested I write out my abuse in a journal and he would comment on the journal or ask questions as he saw fit. I told him I wasn't comfortable doing that, that I wanted to discuss issues that had arisen since a death in the family. He didn't want to do that. I was triggered and crying by this point. What a waste of time and what worries me is other less boundary-capable patients he might be given. Customer service was kind in demeanor and says they have refunded the hundreds of dollars in pre-pay but it can take up to 2 days to be refunded.
