Better Help was something I was…
Better Help was something I was honestly skeptical of at first but I was quickly surprised. It has bettered my counseling experiences previously with in person therapy... I recommend it to anyone!

Better help is both a tool, and great people
BetterHelp is contributing to my success in two broad areas: The tool and the personnel. The tool provides a great platform for interacting with the counsellors that you select. Having a variety of ways to contact my counsellor and schedule sessions is fantastic. I can only speak about my counsellor, but she is fantastic, thorough and truthful. The pre-choice questionnaire did a great job of matching me with someone who I am very happy with.

Amazing service and counselors
Amazing service and counselors! I feel like I am receiving real and professional help. I am not asked to mask my struggles with a pill but to be given resources and support to "rewire" how I react in a positive way. Thank you so much!

Betterhelp has been a huge part of my health regimen. As someone who doesn't have health insurance, I love having this affordable option. I almost feel like I'm cheating the system, because this is better than any in person therapy that I've been to. The online capability takes counseling into the present day.

Not ready to offer the UK market
I am from the UK. Firstly, BetterHelp advertises its sessions for £49 (or something like that) and when I finished signing up they took £180 from my account. Secondly you should get a choice of therapist and only one therapist matched with me and she was a white American lady who has nothing in common with me. Getting a refund was quick so thanks for that.

Fake fake!!!! Don’t waste money as I did
Fake fake!!!!! I paid and there is not option to complain or have my money back! Groupwinars are fake as they never never start, and the therapists only reply to say “ looking forward to speak or know you” but never ever appear in the session!!!!

Hi Leslie -- I'm so sorry to hear about your experience with your counselor as well as with any Groupinar you may have enrolled in! Groupinars generally start on time and are rarely cancelled, but cancellations can occur if a the counselor hosting it has a tech issue or an emergency. In these cases, we'll send a notice to the attendees once we're made aware of the cancellation and will let them know when the Groupinar has been rescheduled for. Regarding your experience with your counselor, it's not common for a counselor to not show up and we'd love to make things right for you if this was your experience. My counselor is amazing
My counselor is amazing. I'm at the point where I'm ready to dig deep into my past and deal with some things, and I couldn't have asked for a better guide.
