Free journal included which is amazing to do daily online and share with your counselor or not. Lots of good time slots available. Group therapy included at least in my plan. Amazing. You can text or chat or you can talk on the phone or do a video chat which is an amazingly convenient way to do therapy privately and discreetly and conveniently from anywhere!

Not impressed so I went through all the questions which is quite detailed that's the positive, then after answering all the questions you immediately get pay 4 weeks in advance pay £200 you don't have a name or anything about your new therapist as far as you know you could get a former girlfriend the lack of information from this website about your new therapist is ridiculous I cancelled my interest in this company immediately when I seen the pay now wall, I do not recommend this site at all they don't seem to understand the importance of picking the right person and think just a few questions is good enough

I had a very poor, distressing experience. A lot depends on who you are matched with I suppose. My therapist was often late to sessions, didn't appear to listen to what I said, and to be frank didn't appear to have much training. Her internet often failed. A typical hour session would be 45 minutes of her talking, and 15 minutes of me. I have subsequently found local therapy, at exactly the same cost per session, in person. I'm sure when you get a good therapist it can work but I would be very careful. I was in a bad place when I first started with Better help and I would honestly say using this company made it worse. EDIT following their reply below. There has been no further contact from Betterhelp to find out any more about my experiences, despite me accepting the request to get my email address. (Actually, the only further contact has been a marketing email offering me 10% off if I returned to the platform!)

BetterHelp is a convenient way to access therapy, through video calls, voice calls and messages with your therapist. The therapist is chosen based on criteria selected based on personal preference for therapist and therapy characteristics and style. Sessions are easily scheduled and, if necessary, rescheduled online. Email and text reminders ensure sessions are not missed.

I would give 0 stars if this was an option. As others have said in their reviews, taking money in advance, no customer service whatsoever when seeking a refund.

This is a HUGE scam! I've contacted them and paid the 1st $90. From there on they took $90 every week and NO CONTACT! After I've contacted them (numerous times) all they said was they couldn't find me and I've re-send the information (numerous times) and then they went quiet. I've now cancelled my bank details and the so called debit order. UPDATE: Thank you for reply, however I've given you the information numerous times. When she tries to log on, it says she doesn't exist. Numerous mails and no reaction and STILL you kept on deducting $90 on a weekly basis?! Not on if you work according to budget.....

What makes my experience great with my therapist are his open door policy and it’s a great listener with sound advice. I appreciate his help and honesty.
