I had been trying to schedule therapy around my schedule for a few years. Once I decided to go with BetterHelp, I was immediately impressed. My therapist has been a God send and I feel so much better and in a better space mentally. She has worked with me through some very difficult times and gave me the tools I needed to help myself work through my traumas. I’m extremely grateful for BetterHelp!

I have paid for 12 sessions and only had 9 i arranged wirth my therapist to do 3 more sessions till the end of october the subscription renews tomorrow so I planned to cancel the subscription so I didnt pay another subscription for sessions I wont use. Immediately I cancelled they cancelled the 2 sessions booked as there was no option to book beyond those dates. I have paid £195 for 3 sessions I havent had its another subscription scam.

I would give a 0 if I could. Very scammy for a company that promotes helping. Instead they disguise themselves with giving you a deal for one session then charge your card week for other sessions that you didn’t sign up for. Beware!!!!!

Better help matched me with the best therapist I've ever had. Although, she is no longer with Better Help, I give full credit to BH for putting me in contact with her.

This is a good resource for anyone looking for outpatient counseling service. BetterHelp has top quality counselors in many areas. The counselors are professionals, they provide a safe space to share and openly talk about different topics that someone needs assistance with. Every session feels productive and the online app has many tools and additional resources that grieve tremendous help after every session.

I wanted to love the outcome of my experience, but BetterHelp is not designed for everyone, certainly not me. I don’t want to say my experience is unique, but I’m dealing with aging parents and complex set of problems with getting my family into care. I’ve tried this service a few times, and for one reason or another the counselors and I couldn’t connect. One did connect and had a single session, then his ring (I assume it was his ring light) fell on his computer and this caused a fire, and he cancelled my appointment within hours of the appointment. BetterHelp should have the same canceling policies for customers and providers, but they don’t. I did get offered credits, but I don’t want damn credits, I wanted help. Based on my experience, I simply cannot recommend this organization. I certainly didn’t have any luck, and I felt left “high and dry.” The customer care team was responsive and they tried to connect me, or rather have me connect with another counselor. I looked, but not of their cadre looked like a compatible fit. I’m simply utterly disgusted with this service and I thought there would be more resources, more connection, and feedback. The only feedback I got was after my session. In a way, I feel the TV ads and ads on NPR are misleading. BetterHelp portrays a system that has more access to care than they really do. I put days into my journal, and i expected some feedback from the homework assignment I was given. Instead, I’m sorry my computer “burned up.”
