BetterHelp was a great experience overall for me being my first online counseling experience. I felt well matched with my counselor James. He was very knowledgeable, caring, compassionate and kind. He helped me to learn a few things. The platform was easy to use and the appointments were easy to schedule. I enjoyed taking the wide variety of free therapy classes included in my membership. The pricing was easy to understand and transparent. I had to stop using their services due to my financial situation and a job loss but they were able to work with me to get me a refund and a offered a discount for future services. I highly recommend them to anyone needing counseling services and wanting to try an online platform. I had no concerns about data privacy. Give them a chance, what do you have to lose?

My experience with Betterhelp.com thus far is very good. I really like my therapist, Jeff. One of the best I've worked with. I like the fact that I can contact him anytime. It's like combining therapy with a life coach and that's exactly what I need.

It says you can reach out to therapist at anytime but the truth is something else what you pay per week is just to set up one online meeting with a therapist 🤷🏻‍♀️

One therapist ghosted me, and the next wasn’t particularly good or focused. The cost of Betterhelp is the same if not more as a clinical psychologist. These people are not nearly as qualified and it shows. Way too expensive for advice that is far too general from people with not a lot of knowledge. Don’t bother. Oh and the student ‘discount’ during Covid was a joke.

I needed to talk to someone that was completely outside of my circle. The therapist I found at Betterhelp is knowledgable and helpful with no judgement. She has helped me deal with root problems that led to my depression.

BetterHelp is very user friendly and easy to navigate. It allows me to easily schedule appointments with my therapist and browse the website for more information. I love the app and it makes it so much easier to seek the help that I need.
