Advertised as a friendly and charming Italian restaurant, Bella Italia doesn’t live up to its promise. Further to the cold service by the staff in its South Kensington outlet, they have tied up with Unidays to “so-called” provide student discounts with certain terms & conditions. However there’s just too many terms applied, they might as well just scrap the so-called discount deal off. There is no point promising customers the moon, when you can’t deliver anything. I would give it a 0 but there’s only 1 star for me to start with :) All the best Bella Italia (yes that’s said with sarcasm).

went to the Castle Gate Branch based in Dudley west Midlands 22.05.19, normally go every couple of months, on a girlie night out at the cinema, was truly disappointed with the food we received yesterday, the Risotto pollo fungi (Chicken and Mushroom), the rice was under cooked and resembled a brown muddy puddle, the Lasagna, was bland and tasteless, more flavour in the once from Aldi at £ 2.99 and the Caio e Pepe was also bland and no taste what so ever, and was sent back the Waitress was rude and said that's the dish it is bland. dont think we will be back again for a while, will have to try another restaurant

We went to the Strand Branch yesterday. Following on from Bank Holiday they had run out of beer and only had Budweiser. The poor staff were run absolutely ragged, they were literally running around the restaurant to keep up with the customers. I felt really sorry for them, who ever manages this branch should feel ashamed of treating their staff like this.

Visited Brighton Marina Bella Italia with friends on a weekday evening. Although it was fairly empty the srevice was quite slow. Staff were nice enough just quite slow. I ordered 2 starters and asked for them to be put on one plate as I was having it as a main, only to be told that my starters would be put on the same plate as my friend! Why they did this is beyond me! Finally sorted out having my OWN plate, my food arrives and it's the tiniest portion of food! There were literally a few small balls of over cooked calamari (it looked more popcorn chicken than calamari!) and only 5 small prawn tempuras served with THREE! massive lemon wedges and a huge bowl of horrible tasting garlic mayo! I ordered chips as a side and got a tiny bowl not even full! And I had the pleasure of paying £3.79 for chips and nearly £14 for a few scraps of overcooked seafood! Needless to say I won't be visiting ANY branches of this chain ever again! Hideous!!!

Visited Bella Italia at six fields today and can assure you there is nothing beautiful about the food. Puts Italian food to shame everything we ordered was tasteless surely even the worst chef . should be able to make a tasty tomato sauce. £10.00 for a bowl of over cooked pasta with tasteless sauce was what we got. I think they should be renamed Bella dogs dinner Only put one star as it would not let me put a review with no stars Please don’t waste your money

We visited Bella Italia in Coventry. The food was tasty, good quality for the price, especially with Groupon voucher. However, I will never revisit due to the noise! I felt like in the train station, echo from other people's conversations, kids, plates, just a nightmare! We also had to wait to be served. Shame, as food was good.

My partner and I visited Bella Italia on a recent visit to Oxford. The staff and service was good, but my partners lasagne lacked any substance to it and didn’t represent true value for money. The Americano burger was ok but I would have preferred it served on a plate. We wouldn’t visit this restaurant chain again.

Visited the Bella at castleford junction 32 was was lovely! Quick service Brad was polite and very easy going... and a cutlery balancing expert!! Thank you brad
