The food was awful
The food was awful; the waiter was very helpful though. It's not cheap in comparison to the bad quality of the food. For sure that we are not coming back.

Stayed here June 2019in bungalow. Bungalows need serious updating . Mound on showers . Toilets at pools filthy . No life guard on slides which is so dangerous. I would give the camp a 3 star definitely not 5 star . It’s definitely aimed at older kids . Apart from that I would give the holiday 10 due to the fantastic people we met and the beautiful lake . You can do paddle boarding and canoeing on lake which is brilliant .

Had a lovely meal at the Ashton Moss restaurant. The staff were friendly the meal was great but what let me down was the use of sustainable bio plastic straws. Why not use paper straws which is far more ethical. Sustainable bio plastic is not good for our planet.

Went to hempstead branch today, was served by a lady called paula, she was attentive and down to earth, everything i could want in service staff. Also the food we had was perfect, the place itself was immaculately presented and clean. Will be returning and recommending to anyone who will listen.

In a word...Disappointing, it was clear they were understaffed as although friendly enough the waitress started taking our order but walked away before we had finished so we couldn't order the extras we wanted. Our breakfast arrived in good time, not quick but not slow either. Unfortunately it was not a great breakfast, the bacon was not cooked enough so was very fatty, tomato undercooked a little, mushrooms really overcooked, sausages a little under meaning they were a bit soggy. Shame as they're good quality sausages. You don't get many beans, we knew this however as eaten here before so had intended to order extra but didn't get the chance. The poached eggs were done really well so extra points for that, however no soap in the gents toilets which considering this was the morning makes me wonder if they had even been cleaned that day. Could have been a lovely experience, was better last time but we won't be returning again. This was the Hempstead Valley restaurant on 10th June 2019.

Bluewater (Dartford) UK My friend and I went to have dinner due to the fact that I have a special 'Gourmet Society discount card' which included discount here. When we walked in and ordered our drinks (which are very expensive, £7.00 something for a large pinot glass?!?!) I showed the waitress my discount card her response was 'no when its half term we don't do that' - I had to ask for the manager by this point. If anyone goes on the Gourmet Society website it clearly shows you the only times you CANNOT use this card is Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and December. After about 15 minutes of them umming and arring the manager came over to me and said 'We don't usually do promotions on half term but on this occasion I will put it through for you' - Although this was nice of them she was very patronizing. After our lovely (however pricey) meal our bill arrived - No discount. I had to call the member or staff to redo it all again. Overall the food was nice however it didn't change the attitudes of the workers which I thought were quite rude within the whole experience, I personally don't think I would be keen on going back.

I normally like eating here but I went to the one in Manchester in arndale building and the service was very poor and we have a voucher for 40% and it didn’t work just because the spice girls was on on the same day, very poor. It was packed and there was like 3 people on. My food was also a horrible presentation I had the duck pasta with plum sauce and it looked like I was eating meal worms the way it was presented like something of the im a celeb programme, I really recommend you change the look of this dish.

Wow. Where to begin. My son had to eat in his pants which about summarises our experience. We booked the table three days ago at which point we were not told the place had an overwhelming raw sewing stench. The waitress tipped an entire glass of wine over my son covering him head to toe. Cheesy garlic bread with no cheese. Panacotta with no panacotta. 2.5 hours for the experience with 4 young children, a spoon that looked like it had been dipped in chocolate sauce and then carelessly slapped back onto the table. All this after the previous week where we took over three hours. We won’t be going back until they sort them selves out and not happy at all
