On Sunday, November 2, 2014, my father's chair gave out on him and he fell to the floor. Due to his physical limitations he could not get up on his own. My father had asked Bay Alarm not to call the ambulance and that he only needed someone to help him up, so he appreciated that they had taken his request into consideration. Prior to contacting the fire department, Bay Alarm contacted me, my mother, and my sister as the listed contacts in his records. Once I received the message that my father had fallen, I called them back and they notified me that help was already on the way. Bay Alarm was able to contact my father through the intercom and confirm that the fire department had arrived and they called me back to confirm that my father was being helped.
