They actually had a LINE that you had to wait a certain number of minutes ONLINE just to shop on their website, if you aren't a rewards member! Seriously?!? That's atrocious, especially in the difficult economy we already have! NO websites need to have a queue just to shop!! They've completely lost our business.

I bought 2 gift cards for the black friday sale. $100 and $50. The sale was buy 3 items get 3 free. When I reviewed my order prior to finalizing my order, It showed The price of 1 item and then the next item would be crossed off with the word FREE underneath it. So I submited my order. I go to check the balance on my card and it is 9.17$. I was charged for each item that I had bought and nothing was free. It is Tue. And I have been trying to get help since Sat afternoon with this issue. I am told I can speak to a supervisor because they are busy, I have spent at least 2 hours a day dealing with this and I am so upset I even bought these gift cards in the first place. There is more.... So since I have another card I have to use up, I try to put in another order, I am doing orders for shipping only, Items are going out of stock like crazy and so Ill put an item in my cart and if its out of stock it will automatically go to pick up at store, I am not able to do that. I am supposed to beable to hit the “X” tab and delete this item from my cart. There is no “X” tab, it is just not there. I adjusted my font and size thinking it was maybe just to big. That did not work. So here I am missing out on 4 days of really good sales because I cannot get these Items that I do not want out of my cart. And on top of that I am owed 40$ still. Of course If your thinking why did I just not use a different email and order that way, I could have done that to place a second order, but I had points I could use and a birthday free gift that I needed to use up before they expired if I had done that I would be losing out on about 32$ in product. My husband told me that posting on this site would give me some ways to figure this out. I have not been rude in anyway when speaker to customer service. I feel so taking avantage by them though, I just feel like they were just going in circles each one I talked to, getting nowhere Im so flusterated and really hope someone has answers on what I can do. I’d give 0 stars if I could. I just got off the phone with customer service and I couldn’t understand the agent but evidently Bath&Body works changed my order with substitutes with notifying me first. I’m extremely frustrated that they have such practices. I order what people like and they don’t want Bath&Body deciding what they’re going to get. These were supposed to be Christmas gifts now I will return ALL of them and never shop with them again!

Had a problem with my order, 30 of the foaming hand soap, there were exceptions in the shipping, meaning that the packaged leaked a was delayed. While I do not blame them, the carrier probably handled the box roughly, they were still more than willing to help out. I contacted Bath and Body works and they resent the product that was available and refunded for the ones out of stock. They were easy to deal with without any nonsense. I have bought in the past and will continue to deal with this company.

This all began on August 20, 2024 when we ran out of hand soap and my wife saw there was a great deal on B&BW's website. So she went on and bought a bunch of fragrances and paid for it with my paypal account (so I ended up with the receipt). A full month+ went by and nothing showed up. My wife had bought some other soap while we waited so it wasn't top of mind. Anyway, I finally decided to contact B&BW to ask for a refund. Instead I agreed (after some polite coercion) to a re-ship. I accepted figuring there's no way another shipment would get lost. Well let me tell you, it's now Dec 2nd and that second shipment never arrived. And no, it wasn't porch pirates (not a big issue here and besides the tracking never showed it delivered either). I had totally forgot about the order AGAIN but once again we were talking about hand soap and it reminded me. So I did the online chat thing and within-- I kid you not-- 60 seconds the human virtual assistant told me it was over 90 days (which it wasn't if talking about the 2nd order/reship and even if it was, this isn't a request for a return--the company literally took my money and did not provide the merchandise. What's that called? Oh right: Theft. It's theft.) and then he closed the chat. So I gave one star reviews for that very very rude and dismissive person and called the 800 customer service line. I started typing this while on hold....After 25 minutes the rep. said he got the refund approved and low and behold I got a notice from paypal showing that it's been credited to my account. So I'm upping the review to 3 stars from 1, but ONLY because of this customer service rep. Honestly if i could do 2.5 I would, so I'm rounding up. You're welcome B&BW! That said, I would still not recommend ordering from B&BW online. There must be an explanation for their shipping snafus but they never bothered to give it to me and so I can only assume it's still going on.
