Not a fan of Bath and Body Works, but a friend loves their candles. Decided to go on Bath and Body Works website and order some candles for her birthday. Big mistake...instead of candles, I received a box full of drill bits instead. I was surprised to say the least! Mind you, the Bath and Body Works logo was on the box along with my name and correct address. Anyhoo, it took three phone calls to customer service before the situation was resolved. The first customer service representative didn’t have a clue...instead, she gave me wrong information along with attitude. The second customer representative claimed she issued a refund...wrong! She didn’t even complete the return process. It took Shari, the third customer service representative, to resolve my issue! She quickly and completely processed my refund, and was kind enough to give me a gift card for my troubles. I’m so thankful for Shari! She went above and beyond with the excellent customer service! A couple days later, I called customer service and spoke to a manager. I gave her feedback on the below average customer service. Instead, I got attitude from her. When I told her about my unfortunate situation, and the lackluster customer service I received...all I got was attitude. Had to literally beg her for an apology and an explanation as to why I received a box of drill bits, instead of my candles. Even after I commented on Shari’s excellent customer service, I still got attitude from this manager. Welp, I received my refund, and used my gift card. Hopefully, I’ll receive my candles this time around. I’m keeping my fingers crossed! Regardless, I’m done with Bath and Body Works. Unfortunately, they lost a customer. In my opinion, the customer service needs a serious overhaul. Also, the arrogant responses I got from the manager wasn’t a good look. However, I wish Bath and Body Works the best!

Price increases are too dramatic! I understand COVID-19 has impacted sales in all business but B&B prices were increasing greatly before the pandemic. Most business are now offering LOWER prices to motivate buying. B&B has done away with coupons and specials such as "buy 3 get 3" or "buy 2 get 2" Aromatherapy". The Semi-annual sale used to have special sales days, "body cream $5 each", "lotion & body wash $4 each", "wallflower refill 2-pack $5 each" and 75% off discontinued items. It is almost $8 for 1 oz. hand cream, first sold under $4 each. I can purchase an 8 oz. body cream (thicker than hand cream) at $4.80 each (buy 3, get 2 free). I counted 15 stores within a 60 mile radius from my home. I'd rather drive an extra 5 miles than pay the large & continuing price increases. Most stores with cosmetic products are now selling quality bath products and their prices are quickly becoming the “better buy”.

I brought a new fragrance the strawberry pound cake it has broke me out all over my body. Had to go to the doctor 2 times. My lower leg my skin came off. First time this every happen with their products.

I really Love the candles here. BUT, there customer service is Horrible. The place has gone down hill BIG TIME! Everything is so overpriced, & when they have a sale, nothing is really discounted. It's just a price they give for a bundle of items. There candles are not smelling the same, anymore. They give you excuses on Instagram about why they are not giving discounts & why the Semi-Annual sale is soo Great. IT'S NOT!

I am in shock that B&BW has raised their prices on Plugin refills. It use to cost about $2.50 for one plugin refill, it now cost $7.00 a piece but they have a sale 5 for $24, which makes one plugin refill $4.80, that is an insane price. I pulled out 20 wall plugins in my house and through them in a basket. I refuse to pay $4.80 for a plugin refill which doesn't even last a month. B&BW is insane.

I ordered four products and was charged $20 for shipping. That's pretty bad but I was buying hand sanitizer so I was willing. They shipped it out to me, and then emailed to say that I was only to receive one out of four because the rest were out of stock. Too late to cancel since they were already shipped. So twenty dollars for an eight dollar purchase. A little common sense to contact me regarding the order - too much to ask? I won't ever order from them again.
