This place is terrible. Customer service is ridiculously poor. Don’t hire such unfriendly staff. Attitude in customer service is so unprofessional. Extremely long wait times. I’ve been waiting over five hours to get my animal who just needed a nail trim. What the heck

Banfield is not the place you take your pet if they are sick. They are a wellness center. If you have a sick pet, best find another place to go because it's nearly guaranteed that you will not get an appointment in time to matter. Examples: My mom's cat was sick, next available was 10 days later. The cat would either be better or dead by then. She took him someplace else. My cat needed end of life euthanasia. Next available was a week out. When I finally got the appointment ... at a different Banfield than my usual ... they had mixed up the details on my two animals. Poor record keeping on top of a difficult experience. Sigh. Why does Banfield not set aside a certain % of its daily appointments for sick care? It's obvious that they do not. It's probably for the best because I doubt they would be much help to a sick animal. They are ill-equipped to deal with the "hard cases." Example, my cat's teeth were so horrible they had exposed roots, infections, and needed extractions yet just 6 months earlier, they were supposedly cleaned and in good shape. At least, no information was passed along to me that more dental care was needed. I found out because I took her to another vet because Banfield seemed afraid of her and I was worried that she wouldn't get proper care. I guess this is what you get when you take your pets to what is essentially a clinic populated with new vets and/or just graduated vet students who need the practice. Don't get me wrong, they are all really nice people but they are learning on your animal. Virtually non-existent sick care and questionable wellness care. I'll never use them again, honestly. Take the time to find some place better. Both you and your pets deserve better veterinary care.

If I could give zero stars I would but it only allows for the minimum of one star. My experience with Banfield is abysmal. The vet missed ear mites on a kitten I rescued which than meant I needed to treat my other 2 cats. They also missed worms which meant treatment again of the other two. They put me on their wellness month plan which is a great business model for them but a terrible plan for the pets. Not everything is covered so they don’t check (or didn’t in my case) for things that wasn’t covered. I have been trying to cancel the plan since January (it’s now May) and cannot get them to respond. It’s a terrible company from the top down!

On Friday I had to put my Bassett down, and his Vet Dr. Hohn at Banfield Pet hospital went above and beyond to give amazing last moments with him. He has been my best friend for over a decade and Dr Hohn treated us both with respect and kindness. She is the best. Today I was charged for his wellness plan and called in to cancel it. I was informed that it would cost more to cancel than to keep $50 a month through January of next year. Banfield wellness plan is a joke. I paid over $1k out of pocket in the last two weeks with testing and his plan didn’t even cover the cost of his regular annual visit somehow. How disappointing to have paid all of my “co-cost” same day to then have them tell me I need to keep making payments for something he is not here to use. He had been on this plan for at least 5 to 7 years and going to Banfield since he was 12 weeks old. I paid almost an entire year for my other dog who didn’t use it once but I sure didn’t see a refund for that. I honestly don’t even want to use Banfield even though I love our Vet. Banfield wellness is a scam!!! *UPDATE* So the Banfield Cares called me back and did nothing, even more upset after talking to that rude man. Banfield is the absolute worst I will not ever use them again!

Terrible experience. Very little depth and experience. Unreasonably expensive for a we have no idea what’s going on and what to do.

Banfield doesn’t care for my time. Last week, I brought my dog in for a checkup, and they said that he’d be done in about 30 minutes and that they would call me. I went to pick up a couple of things at the grocery store and got gas. They called my wife and said our dog had an ear issue. We could treat it at home daily for a week or so or they could do the treatment that day and we could not worry about it and bring him back the following week for his second and last treatment for $12 more. She opted for the $12 more and to let them do the treatment. I came back 45 minutes later and still had not received a call. I sat in the parking lot for one hour and they called and asked if I was coming back to get our dog. They had been finished for almost an hour and left me waiting in the parking lot. Came back a week later and they didn’t take the dog back for 17 minutes after his appointment started. Even worse, the second treatment for his ear cost ballooned from the $12 that we were quoted verbally a week earlier to $146. Get your quotes in writing. Find a reputable vet and stay away from Banfield.

I have a cat and a dog and after a long and hard discussion with my family, it was decided that my cat would live with my parents. I called in to cancel the coverage for my cat and was connected with a man named TONY. TONY was UNBELIVEABLY RUDE. I asked if I could speak to a manager, I asked for his last name, at each point he not only refused but insulted my concerns. At one point in the call I literally asked him if I could give him some feedback on how he was treating me and he stated "I'm not interested in your feedback" and later "I don't care what you have to say"... I have recordings of this if anyone is interested; this guy needs to be fired.

I had been a Banfield customer for 16 years, I originally had 2 pups and added third one maybe 8 years ago. The experience was good at the begining but went downhill maybe 5 years ago. It started with the turn over with the vets at the clinic I went to, the care was not the same. I debate to stay and did because I was not able to find a comparable and did not want to leave my pets without care. Last year we had to put down one of our pets and I just had to wonder how the vet never saw anything weird in our dog despite having blood work every 6 months. Did they missed it? I had to continue payments to cover the "discounted" services for 7 more months despite the hundres of dollars we paid at the time of service. I know there is disclosure about that so I just paid. However at that point decided we will not renew for our others two dogs. They send us a appointment reminder so I contacted Banfield just to make sure we were not renewing and was told that the pups could have their last check up and at the end of the contract we would no have any additional balance. So in essence what we were pre-paying would have cover that check up. Unfortunately our home burn down in Februray 2021 to the ground and took our pups. Going to this process has not been easy, so I began to call all our services to cancel including Banfield. To my surprise I was informed that I had to complete the payments under my contract!! So why would I have to continue to pay for services that were never renderrd if what I was paying was going to cover for the service that we never received!! I could not believe it!! what a way to treat a customer that have impecable payments for 16 years during the lowest time of our lives. The Woodstock GA clinic was even worst! These people have seen our dogs for years and didn't even had the courtesy to send a text acknowledging the passing of our pups. Today I've spend an hour and 30 min on hold trying to figure out just my balance to be done with these people.Indeed after waiting got in touch with a rep who kindly told me yes, they just draft the last payment from my account today! I will have other dogs but never again will I use Banfield or reccomend this company to anyone.This Company and their vets clearly are all about money, and prey on animal lovers, but are they? don't think so.
