I think location probably makes a big difference. Even just local vets tend to have very inconsistent reviews. I'm in Pensacola FL and our Banfield vet has been fabulous. Every vet and tech we've seen has been awesome. My shih tzu has bad allergies and they treat him well. I really recommend their pet programs because it can save you a lot of money. We had to have one of our pets euthanized a few years ago and they were great then too, very respectful of our wishes. I've had my dog's teeth cleaned there, and everything went smoothly. I haven't had any problems getting an appointment when I need it. The only issue I e had is that their app has some glitches.

Went To The Chino CA Location For An Appointment For My Anatolian Shepherd Zeus On Friday 2/6/2026. We Have Been Seen By Antoine Hanna Multiple Times. This Time It Was For Multiple Small Issues. Hanna’s Personal And Customer Skills As Well As His Assistant Lauren Are Easily 5 Star. Best In The Business. Very Informative As Well As Attentive In Regard To Listening To Your Concerns. They Always Allow Me To Make In Person Visits To Support My Dog. Their Compassion, Empathy, And Due Diligence Make You Feel You Made The Right Choice Regarding Your Pet’s Well Being. We Have Their Office Visits Insurance And Can’t Wait For Them To Offer Full Fledge Insurance Policies For Pets. From The Bottom Of My Heart I Thank The Incredible Staff Of Banfield.

The employees are caring towards my pets. Knowledgeable when we have questions. We have had pets on Banfield wellness plans for over 12 years. We are very happy with the care and the value of the plans.

We usually take my dog to the cottonwood location. However when I call them they did not seem to care or help that my dog needed to be seen for a same day ER visit. I called the Academy location and they were able to see him asap. Everyone made us feel comfortable and at ease. We will be moving to the Academy location for all of our future visit's. The staff and Doctor are so caring and AMAZING!!!

We started using Banfield Pet Hospital in Virginia Beach—the location near Plaza Drive. They are very good with our dog; seem really caring and gentle. Our dog has “vet phobia” but they are very patient and careful with her. They have a preventative care plan which I definitely can recommend. We’ve saved lots of money with that. It’s a monthly fee, but in the end it’s a money saver. The staff and vets are all great here!

I’m seen within five minutes of my appointment time every time. They all go above and beyond like clipping my cats’ nails, and talking to me about different foods and treats. (So much better than the VCA in my area who charged me way more than quoted, made me wait an hour spent barely 5 min and refused to help me apply meds.) Love you guys!

I had and awesome experience at the hospital. It was clean the staff were nice and the services were affordable. Definitely will be making this my fur baby pcp.
