If I could give assurance wireless negative Stars I would but unfortunately you have to give one assurance wireless is by far the worst place to get any kind of customer service . They do not care what they have to say for a good review they will lie and tell you that they are sending a phone and it will be on the way and all you have to do is leave a review and it will give you the phone quicker this has happened to me three times I have spent the last two three weeks trying to work on getting my services back after trying to stay with this company for 3 years this is how I'm repaid. Almost in tears at how frustrated I was I turned to here to write a review and to tell others what I've gone through that way they will not have to go threw it themselves. Unfortunately more will not be done they will continue on scamming customers who are in desperate need they should be shut down and it's a shame that companies like this scammers like this exist.

This is a painful but hilariously ironic follow-up to the review of assurance wireless that I wrote on March 22,’22. A few days after I had, with great difficulty, requested my 4th replacement phone from them, I got a scripted generic email from them saying “We’re so glad we were able to successfully resolve your recent problem with us.” And I thought, no, that problem will be resolved if and when I receive a functional phone from you. The following day I received the next email from them saying my account was cancelled because I hadn’t been using my phone. Read the other reviews here—this is a pattern. And it really stinks. Anyway, I’m so stupid and stubborn I would have hung in there with these jerks and kept trying to make the deal work. So I guess they did me a favor by “dropping” me. Thanks a.w. Appreciate it.

I used them for 12years for the govt lifeline. Good until I had to replace a constantly defective phone, the replacement phone lasted for 4days. Called to get another one, still not arrived, taped to them for 6weeks now. Lies, the runaround mis information, delay, having to give them the same info over and over. I'm done now.

I left Tracfone because I thought THEY were bad...HAH!! I learned what BAD really is when I hooked up with Assurance! Right off the bat, I received an off the wall brand phone (Schok Volt SV55) that constantly disconnects from the network and doesn't work very well when it DOES work, making it useless, and a low volume speaker. After a few days of being shifted from one department to another, a customer service rep gave me a small list of optional phones I could buy. I'm used to top notch smartphones, always had various Samsung's Galaxy phones. From the list, and after reading the specs, I chose a Moto G Pure, mainly for the 6.5" screen, for which I was charged $25. They apologized and said it would be at least a MONTH to ship. But I figured so what...at least I'd have a decent phone. 6 weeks later, it arrived yesterday. I opened the box and stared at another unheard of brand (WIKO u316AT) that has only a 5" screen, resolution so low you can hardly see it, even indoors. I googled the specs and reviews and thought I was back in 2010, totally outdated!!. It still uses USB 2s micro port. I'm not even going to call them to fight for my money back! I have high-tailed it back to Tracfone and requested my Lifeline be transferred to them ASAP! While waiting the 6 weeks for the phone, I discovered that T-Mobile has a $15 plan that offers unlimited talk, text AND data. I bought a phone, signed up with them for that plan and have never had better service. I plan to keep the plan as well as the Lifeline with Tracfone, for when they do their screw-ups, as we know they will. At least I will always have a dependable phone. I am a handicapped old lady who lives alone and I just can NOT be without a phone. SO beware, think HARD before you choose Assurance Wireless. Free is NOT always good!

These people should get No stars this company is a complete scam you have to be a complete fool to own there products worst experience period I wish the owners jumped off the Burj khalifa head first.

Hands down worst cell phone company and service I've ever had in 32 years. Customer service is non-existent. Cell phone service sucks. Not 4g its only 2 or 3. Constantly losing signal, poor connections poor uploads. Stay as far away from this company as you can pay 40 bucks to go to visible I'm going back to them

On Feb 4th my phone's charging port was damaged, so I could no longer charge the phone. I called immediately to request a replacement. I was told I would receive it within 21 to 28 business days. I waited but never received a tracking number, so I called to follow up. Was then told I needed to update my address. No problem. I was then told a new date of arrival. No tracking number, so I called again. I was ASSURED that my phone would be on its way within a few days. No problem. I waited and still no tracking number came. I've called dozens of times since. They always apologize and then promise me something different each time. I've been given so many arrival dates and apologies, it's obnoxious at this point. We are now approaching almost 2 months waiting for a replacement phone that I desperately need. After all of these broken promises and all the waiting, I've just been informed that I will now have to reapply for LACK OF PHONE ACTIVITY!! Are we serious!?! Please tell me how I can actively use a phone that you refuse to send me!?! They constantly tell me someone from upper management will be contacting me to resolve my issue. That has yet to happen. This company is a true joke. The customer service agents are obviously encouraged to tell the customer anything they want to without regard, including management. They do not care one bit. It's thoroughly disorganized and unprofessional, with no moral base. Stay very far away from Assurance Wireless. They will waste so much of your time and won't care. I wish I could rate them at 0 stars.

I wrote a review last week. And if I could I would still give a 0. It’s been a month and a half and still no phone. Now there telling me it’s on back order. I believe it’s time to change carriers after being with them for 8 years. O well.😟
