Purchased a new living room and bedroom set this evening from Matthew in the Howell store. He was friendly and honest. Didn’t feel pressured. Highly recommend going to him. Had a great experience.

Court street Flint Mi, has the best employees hands down. Lynn schoonover was very helpful I never had someone that was so helpful while shopping, she knows her stuff, there was a another lady name jennee (she was new) very nice. Art van please this give these two ladies something for having patience, not everyone loves there job but these two ladies loves there job. 11/29/19

Do not waste your time. I paid for a chair. Picked up what I thought I had paid for. Got home and on opening the box found out the Wendy had switched us to a cheaper chair. Her comment was I thought that one would be ok. Are you kidding me. Dishonest sales technique. Then it was my responsibility to return their mistake. No apology or attempt to right their wrong. No more Artvan for me and I would advise others not to buy the junk they sell.

Over the past 30 years when we have purchased new furniture it has been with Art Van. Originally when we lived in the Detroit Metro area, the Warren store was our place to shop. When we lived for over ten years in the Mt. Morris Area, the Art Van in Flint Township by the Genesee Mall became our furniture store. When we moved into the Blue Water Area, the Art Van on Grand River in Downtown became our store until the new store was built on 32nd Street by the I-69 business loop. Over the many years, our experience with Art Van personnel, from sales, delivery, maintenance, service repair, right thru financing has been a very good experience. The salespeople who have assisted us with making major purchases for us, have always been honest and straight forward throughout the different store locations and the years. One current exception to this very good service is delivery. I am not happy that Art Van only offers delivery on one day a week and you have no choice of the date. For the Blue Water area, Friday is the only day offered delivery. Due to weather and the time of our delivery this past Friday, delivery could not be made, and we will have to wait an entire week and hope that nothing prohibits the delivery of our furniture this coming Friday. Had the Art Van truck showed up at 4 pm it would not have been a problem to navigate the driveway as the ice and snow were slush at this time. A UPS truck came in and out of the drive with no problem at 3:45 pm. By 5 pm the drive was refreezing and led to the delivery being rescheduled. I am also unhappy with deliveries being scheduled for past 5 pm. I think that the customer should be able to have their delivery by 4 pm at the latest unless they agree to a later delivery time. It would also be nice to receive a telephone call or text message from the driver stating they should be arriving in the next 30 to 40 minutes. Because of the current delivery process, we don’t know if we would purchase at Art Van again. This process could nullify all of the previous good feelings we have toward Art Van. We will have to wait with an empty room void of furniture and see if delivery is made before 4 pm for this coming Friday. This being stated, my wife and I would like to post a special call out to Russ at the Port Huron Art Van store. We met Russ after visiting the Flint Township store as our Dad was purchasing furniture and because we so liked the power sofa and recliner chair that he purchased in the Flint area store we ventured into our Port Huron store where we were assisted by Russ. We had been waiting years to be able to purchase a power recliner sofa and Russ made our purchase possible by price matching the deal that was offered in the Flint Art Van Store. Russ worked with us patiently as we also looked for a wing back or small reclining chair. Russ was professional, courteous and very helpful in guiding us to the furniture we purchased working within our price constraints. Russ also priced matched a new offer from the furniture manufacturer which also saved us a few more dollars off the original purchase price. From start to finish, it was a pleasure to work with Russ and we would seek him in any future purchases. We rate Russ a 5-star out of 5 rating for his assistance with our purchase. If it is true and I do think it is, that people make a business, then Art Van Furniture is in a good place with good people, maybe an exception to logistics, who are professional in the aspects of their employment duties.

We have purchased a leather sofa and loveseat. It has been 16 months and the stitching is coming off and on the seams the leather is wearing off. I contacted customer service and the are coming out but they said this is normal wear and tear, really there are only 2 adults and no grown children living in the house. I had other leather furniture over 15 years and it is still in perfect condition and never did a thing to it. I never cleaned or conditioned it. What is wrong with this picture, I guess you get what you pay for. I am so not happy with Art Van

Furniture will be structurally broken within a year from normal use. Then after you get the run around from the Warranty department, theyll tell you that structural damage from normal use is not covered unless you bought the highest warrantly plan they offer, otherwise you're SOL. Dont waste your time or money. Edit: After opening the couch up to fix it, I could not believe how bad the build quality was: excessive staples splitting plywood, tons of staples missing their target, no screws or wood glue at all, thin wood or plywood used for weight/stress bearing pieces, etc, etc. I couldn't believe this thing lasted a year.

Great customer service with excellent financing options BUT I Brought a twin recliner sofa in September 2019 it is now November 2019 I notice the seat cushion starting to sag. I'm greatly disappointed. I will not buy anymore furniture from Art Van

I have never wished ZERO stars was an option more than in this moment. Avoid this trash company at all costs.
