I'd like to say that this is not against any of the salesman or staff, but the return policy that art van has. I recently purchased some items from the kentwood store, paid cash, and then returned one of the items. It's now the second day and I still havent received my money back, cash, from the return. Still waiting on a call back. HOWEVER, I must say that even though I was rude and upset so probably difficult to deal with, the lady, I believe her name to be Emma, behind the customer service desk was very helpful, reassuring, and respectful even after I wasnt. She is probably the reason why I will continue to shop at art van. However, from now on i will be using card and credit instead of cash. I suggest you make available a small amount of cash for those customers who return cash bought items. Just a suggestion

I bought a chair that was defective and called them for repair... 2 weeks later we got a call then had to wait another week for repair guy to come out... now we have waited another 2 weeks for a part that has yet to arrive.... if it ever does arrive we will have to wait another few weeks before it will be fixed.... very unprofessional.... I will never recommend anyone shopping with Art Van.... they do not care at all after you leave their store..... DO NOT SHOP HERE

I bought a couch and two recliners from art scam furniture. The color on the recliner wore off twice and now both recliners are garbage. The bases pop the chair leans and Im afraid to sit in them. Now after having the chairs for around three years they wont honor the warranty. Now everyone should know if you buy their furniture it won't last three years. They say it is normal wear and tear. Do as I did and file a complaint with the attorney general.

I purchased a sofa and chair in early November. Its middle of January and im still waiting on a service Person to come out. After noticing the arm of the sofa was missing screws and kept falling off .Please dont purchase from them terrible service .

I purchased a recliner and sofa in September 2019. By November 22nd, customer service tech came to look at why the recliner's cushioning disappeared, and the phone charger disappeared into the recliner. The tech stated there was a zipper in the underside of the recliner, and I just needed to push the cushioning back into the seating. Sorry - I will not do so... I need this recliner fixed. After that day, I never heard back from the tech service or the store. I went into the store in December and was told the store manager was not there; however, after calling a few days later, it appears there are many claiming to be the store manager. I explained why I was there and wanted to when the recliner would be repaired? The store stated only the tech service knew that answer. However, I also learned that day I was to have read my guarantee, which states, furniture is NOT RETURNABLE ONLY FIXABLE. WHAT ?? Anyway no one called me back as was stated, when I was at the store. However, when I called a few days later, I did find out parts were on order and not due in until January. I called tech service a few days ago, week of January 6th 2020, and was wondering when my recliner would be fixed? I was told the ArtVan rep was not there and would call me back; HOWEVER, I never received a call but a few days later a box showed up with - WAIT FOR IT -- cut pieces of foam !!!! WHAT ??? No instructions - no fix for the phone charger. ARE YOU KIDDING ?? - I spent $900 for the recliner, cushioning disappeared, phone charge broke, and the fix is --- HERE IS SOME FOAM - FIX YOUR RECLINER ?? Seriously !!! I will never purchase from ArtVan Furniture and recommend no one else does either. I am in my 60's, never had a customer service problem like this ever happen to me. We ordered a bed and bed lift from the Mishawaka store. Calvin was extremely patient while we took almost an entire day to choose a bed. He was professional and informative. Very pleasant!!! After we got home we realized we had ordered too soon sine one of us was going to be out of town for a couple of months and that would put us beyond the trial period. We called to cancel the order until we returned to town. Calvin was very understanding and credited our account immediately. I highly recommend this store and Calvin in particular. We will certainly return to shop there.
