I bought two sofas. In less than six months I had tears and snags all over the fabric. I was concerned about this before I bought them. My salesperson assured me that will not happen, that chenille is a very strong fabric. I told her about having two dogs and why I was apprehensive. I have covered them with quilts . They are still less than two years old. The frame is strong enough but the fabric looks like a very old worn couch. I bought the pet insurance. It was useless. There is a clause in their policy stating it doesnt cover claims involving snagging from animal claws....exactly what I asked about and was assured that it wasnt a problem. The repairman came out . and was very nice but told me when they call for him it is usually a way to get the customer off their backs. Anyway, it is no bargain and a total waste of money. I'll be purchasing new sofas soon and it sure won't be from them. Buyer beware. They talk a good talk but do not follow up on their promises.

Is there a zero star rating? ART VAN DESERVES IT! This company has the worst Customer service. Delivery is at best extremely questionable. BUY AT YOUR OWN RISK..

I placed my order on 12/26/19 with a promised delivery date 8-10 weeks, I called gain to add an additional item to the order on 2/4/20 and checked on the status of the order. I was told it will not be ready until mid April (that is 17 weeks). I told Paul that if this is the case then I need to cancel the order. He said he will see what he can do and will call me back. today is 2/6 and I have not heard from them yet. I called again to check on the status and I was told again mid April, I asked for cancellation but they responded there is a charge of 25% even though they have not even started with the order. The invoice clearly says 8-10 weeks delivery time. This is a bad service, if they cannot deliver on time they should not promise. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM-RUN AWAY!!!

We purchased a matrix leather couch and love seat with a 10 year leather protection warranty/replacement in 2016 from Art Van Furniture. A couple weeks ago the couch seats started cracking and tearing. When checking on the warranty not only did we find out that the couch wasn't "real leather" the manufacturer no longer made or repaired the couch. So our first question to them was why would they sell us a leather protection warranty on material that was not real leather? We were sold a vinyl synthetic polyurethane leather (a leather look alike) so obviously the sales clerk (who no longer works their) was just trying to get the sale. Since we still had 6 years on the extended warranty, they settled our claim with a store credit worth 80% of our original purchase price. They didn't have another couch that was similar or in the same price range of what we had originally purchased so we ended up having to settle on an upgrade (a rawhide leather) that was an additional $2,000 more than our store credit and it didn't even come in the same black color that we had originally purchased in 2016. Not only that, the warranty policy has changed on the new couch and love seat set. The 10 year $143.98 warranty originally purchased is now a 6 year $601.92 warranty. Really!!! This entire ordeal was painfully frustrating. We were definitely sold a lemon! The upgraded couches were delivered today. I'm disappointed and I feel bamboozled. I will never recommend Art Van Furniture or purchase from them again. NEVER EVER!!!

Order/purchase at your own risk. I ordered a table which was on clearance from the outlet. I received the wrong color table twice and then received a damaged table another 2 times. Customer service has been "trying" to fix this for me but it has just become a huge waste of my time. Art Van is not as quality as they seem. Beware.

We ordered a bedroom set at the beginning of November (I guess we should have read the reviews before dealing with Art Van), and still are not satisfied with the purchase. On the first delivery, the bed rail was smashed broken, the headboard was missing paint, and the dresser had a dent. We allowed the furniture to stay because we had disposed of our old ones already. We are onto the 5th delivery, and the furniture keeps coming damaged. We are OUTRAGED that the warehouse does not check before sending the pieces out, and the disrespect for our time as each delivery time frame is three hours so our Saturdays have been wasted four times already. We asked for it to be in the original boxes, and the boxes are coming smashed. The delivery people do not use booties unless we ask them to do so (white glove delivery??); the most professional guys were the last ones. Just ridiculous!

I had been looking for this cabinet for nearly a year, I called the Woodward store and spoke with Tom about the cabinet, immediately he got on the "DOUBLE" and found the cabinet for me....SHOUT OUT TO GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE WOODWARD STORE, thanks again Tom for your great personality, professionalism, and your ability to "make it happen". I'm HAPPY!!!!

If I could give 0 stars I would, very poor customer service and no matter how much you spend they will charge you for delivery even if it's 5 minutes down the road
