The set up process was easy. The water is clean and really does only take 12-15 minutes to process. I use a water softener system for well water which leaves a slight taste that is completely removed by using this purifier. I use seven gallons of bottled water per week which at age 75, was tediously lugged home from the grocery store, this process is much easier.

I love the taste of the water and it definitely does the job. I'm content with its performance. The problem I'm having is that I have a hard time pulling up the back tank in order to refill it...would have liked a smoother removal. Would be nice to have an option for colder water too.

I was a little hesitant to spend that much money on a countertop water filter , but after watching AquaTru dominate all of the filter tests I became convinced that it was a good investment. Everything about this filter is high quality. Our community has chlorine treated water. This removes all odor and taste 100%. We did opt for the mineral added filters, and a spare pitcher for the refrigerator. No more plastic bottled water for us! Water tastes amazing. As they say when buying something of quality. "Buy once, cry once!" I highly recommend this countertop water filter. Zero regrets.

The initial configuration with the added minerals produced an unpleasant odor, making the water undrinkable. The company sent a free replacement, though there was a long wait for it. The water is now odorless, but I have no way to verify its quality.
