If I could rate this less I would. This team was great until a mother board ethernet driver went bad. I offered to replace the board rather than shipping the computer back and waiting forever to get it turned around. So I paid for the new board with the indication it would be credited when the old one was returned. After waiting well over a month+, I get a note from them that the original mother board was damaged and credit would not be forthcoming. When the board left my possession the damage to the board was not there. Yet it was shipped in the same container and paced the same as the replacement board. with yet another $800 investment in a $6,000 computer, I am of the opinion that I was taken for a ride. I an not a happy customer.

Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear about your frustration and understand how disappointing this situation has been. To clarify a few important points, the deposit for the replacement motherboard was $230, not $800. This deposit is refunded once the original component is returned in a condition that allows the manufacturer to process it under their replacement policy. In this case, the returned motherboard unfortunately had extensive physical damage to the interior of the CPU socket. This type of damage makes the component ineligible for manufacturer replacement. It’s also important to note that the motherboard was received by us with the protective plastic socket cover still in place. Because of this, the damage could not have occurred during shipping, as the cover would have prevented any contact with the socket pins in transit. We absolutely do work with customers to file shipping claims when damage occurs during transit. However, based on the condition in which the board was received, this was not consistent with shipping-related damage. We strive to be as transparent as possible with our replacement process and policies, and we regret that this situation did not meet your expectations. If you would like to discuss this further, we’re happy to review the case with you again and answer any remaining questions.

Apex Gaming PCs is hands down the best system builder I’ve encountered. After dealing with several major brands, Apex stands out for their superior build quality and 'elite' support. A huge shoutout to Robert H. for his incredible customer service he was responsive, professional, and went above and beyond. My PC is running flawlessly; I won’t be shopping anywhere else.

PC was delivered late and will not power on out of the box. I am pretty savvy and they are giving me the run around asking the normal IT questions, did you try a different outlet, etc. I told them 3 times I tested different outlets, different cords, different locations and it will not power on. I was delivered a $1400 paperweight...

We’re really sorry to hear about your experience—this is absolutely not the kind of first impression we want you to have. After reviewing our support history, we were only able to find one instance where we asked about trying a different power outlet. We understand how frustrating it can feel to be asked basic troubleshooting questions, especially when you’ve already taken those steps. That said, when a system isn’t powering on, it’s critical for us to verify each part of the power chain to rule out any external causes before moving forward with deeper diagnostics. We want to reassure you that your PC was fully tested and confirmed to be working properly before it left our facility. However, issues can occasionally occur during shipping, and we take situations like this very seriously. At this point, we’ve already initiated a return for repair so we can get hands-on with your system and resolve the issue as quickly as possible. Our team will prioritize your case to ensure your PC is repaired and returned to you as fast as humanly possible. We truly appreciate your patience and the effort you’ve already put into troubleshooting. We’ll make this right.

Epic stuff & great tec support with the ordering & repairs

It took a very long time to get, which with the RAM shortage is understandable, but our order was pushed back every time a new priority one came in with no sense of when or if we'd move forward so we did not feel very happy with that. Because of the cost difference of RAM right now, we were given no compensation, and after getting the computer there is an issue of it resetting randomly when in use. We are considering a return.

Thank you for your feedback. We understand how frustrating delays can be and appreciate your patience during the build process. To clarify, orders are fulfilled in the order they are received, and priority or rush orders do not move other customers back in the queue. In your case, the primary cause of the delay was that the system did not initially pass our stress testing. When that happens, our technicians pause the order to diagnose and repair the issue to ensure the system meets our performance and stability standards before it ships. We’re also sorry to hear that you’re experiencing random resets. This is the first time this issue has been mentioned in your correspondence with us, and we would absolutely like the opportunity to help diagnose and resolve it for you. Please reach out to our support team at [email protected] so we can take a closer look and work toward a solution as quickly as possible.
