Purchasing the chair and having it professionally installed was a life changer for us. The company was so accessible and everything ran smoothly. The chair lift is used multiple times daily and is an easy ride. If we didn't have this chair, my father in law would have to be in a very expensive nursing home. I purchased their ameriglide with the correct measurements as outlined. However, I did notify that the measurements were on a carpeted staircase and they had to include accommodate the carpet. When the ameriglide arrived, everything looked fine and installed well. However, when you went to put the foot plate down, the foot plate doesn’t clear the carpeted steps. When you sink the bolts into the brackets, the railing will sink about 0.5”-1” due to the compression of the carpet. It just so happens that the foot needs about 0.5” or so to clear the steps. The fact that the carpet was never factored in lead to additional need for shims to be installed to pick the railing up that 0.5”-1”.

my lift is every thing i wanted and more. great quality. and manily my WIFE likes it. when wife is happy everybody's happy.

The stair glide was installed efficiently and we like it very much.

The instruction manual for installation could be better. Better pictures would help. Found an error when to install the upper limit strip. Can't be done until the after the power unit is put in place and moved a short distance down the rail. Other than that, all worked out well.
