The Hercules wheelchair lift is all it was represented to be. Excellent service from AmeriGlide, delivered on time, safely, and in good condition. With help from my sons, the installation was easy, and the lift works perfectly.

Pros: great service, quick set up. On my stairs, I ascend or descend in approximately 30s. Cons: The remote only works if you point it directly at the box under the chair. Aesthetically, the remote looks like it belongs in a 1980s movie. It is bulky and ugly. Also, maybe I should have known this when I purchased it, but you need a power outlet right by the stairs. Even when you have that, you are going to have a battery box and a lot of cord hanging around your stairs, somewhere. Finally, it should be noted that it’s quite loud.

The company and installer delivered on time and what they agreed to. The equipment works as advertised. The only problem was that they failed to send the necessary number of supports and the installer had to improvise until he receives the correct parts.

We are so glad to hear it, Larry! Thanks for letting us know you were happy with your purchase. I'm sorry you didn't get the proper supports.

I love the product and my sales rep. I had rail damaged 2 times. It was damaged during shipment. I was expecting a little more priority on getting the new rail twice but it still took the normal 5-6 days. One day it didn’t get picked up at the dock so one day delay but was never told of this. I’m not a big fan on never getting a tracking number when the product ships, I’m always having to ask for it. At times my rail is filled with aluminum shavings from being cut. Little more quality control I feel is on order. Take pride in the product your selling and shipping. Make the customer feel at that moment that we actually matter even if we only buy 4-6 units a month.

The installation was pretty easy. We love the chair and use is every time we go up and down the stairs. It is great for hauling groceries down to the lower level.
