My Good Friend Was shipped a Defective Power lift chair and they will not let my dying friend send it back . They will only send someone who makes the chair out to try and fix it. 2 weeks later and No time has been set to "FIX'. the Broken chair They said she has to pay at least $400. for shipping if she ships the defective chair back and then there will be a restocking fee. She paid $100.00 to have the chair put together. The chair will Not work. It will never lay flat as she was told it would do. It's as hard as Rocks and is suppose to be a chair for a person up to 6,6. She is only 5 11 and her legs hang off the chair She needs a Lift Power chair that will help pro long her life. and they do NOT Care. I have left 6 messages for the customer service Rep. Laura and she hadn't returned one call. Left 4 messages For TJ Kelly's boss and no call back, Have Filled with BBB, AG in Phoenix and Seattle, I will be filing with the Federal Trade Commission and the FBI internet because the sale was over the internet. Also Filed with AARP Fraud Because they are taking advantage of a disabled, Dying , Older Person. It's Not her fault Ameriglide sent her a defective or broken chair That has been sitting in her living room for over 2 weeks. They have treated my dying friend and myself like dirt...They DO NOT stand behind what they sell you.....**** No YOU DID NOT say you would ship the chair back for free. You said that you would only TRY and Fix the chair. I was told yesterday that my friend would have to come up with at least $400. to send it back and that there would be a restocking fee. AT NO time have we been offered to send it back for Free. If we had this would of been over a very long time ago. We want the defective chair gone and a Full Refund so my friend can buy a Chair that will help Prolong her life. Who Do I call to get it shipped back for free with a full Refund???? Nobody will answer my calls... ***18 DAYS LATER Defective chair is still Broken and part isn't in Yet. Do Not Ever Buy from this place. This was supposed to be a brand NEW chair that she paid almost $1200. for.### UPDATE. After 20days Chair tec. came to fix chair . He COULDN"T fix Chair. Told my friend the Chair would NEVER lay flat or raise her feet and legs up as needed. She was sold a Zero Gravity Chair and this Chair isn't one. This was the ONLY chair that Kelly said would work for her and he lied. Stuck with defective chair after 3 weeks waiting for it to be fixed and it CAN NOT be fixed....50 days and Over 30 calls by me later and chair has been returned for a FULL Refund and NO REFUND.I was told Refund would be on Feb 10 2021. I was Told Yesterday by TJ (boss) He has NO IDEA when a Refund will be given. They are waiting for my friend to Die before they refund her account, so she can buy a working lift chair and they DO NOT CARE!! After 50 days NO refund!!! OMG I'm so Happy to say they Refunded her card .... Never Give up!!!

I have been handicapped for several years and have purchased several lift chairs during that time. I am now in my 70's and need to deal with people I can count on. Kelly Clevenger turned out to be just such a person. There were a few issues along the way, none of Kelly's doing, but he always got involved and stayed with it until it was solved. Kelly is my choice for salesman of the year for 2020. He always returns his phone calls and does what he says he will do.

Placed order with Dalton Waters Dec 7 was told will ship within two days from north carolina kept calling for days on end finally was notified it was shipped dec 18 via fedex with a delivery date of dec 22 to freight forwarder in miami for onward shipment to nassau bahamas was given a tracking number which showed 4pcs called dec 21 was told by mr dalton that 2 pcs was delivered today the other 2 will be delivered tomorrow at no point was i told there would be a split shipment this i founf out at 4.22 when mr dalton sent me an email i informed him this will cause me double as the freight forwarder will now make two shipments as they were not informed MY DALTON BECAME EXTREMELY RUDE AND HUNG UP THE PHONE I CALLED FOR HIS BOSS CHRIS WHO NEVER CAME TO THE PHONE NEITHER DID HE RETURN MY CALL I WOULD ADVISE EVERYONE WHO I AM IN CONTACT WITH TO AVOIDE THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS I WILL NOW CONSULT WITH MY ATTORNEY AND MADE CONTACT WITH MY CREDIT CARD COMPANY

I have a request instead of a review...at this point. I would like to request that someone from AmeriGlide come and evaluate the chair and how my husband uses it. The need for a stairlift started to be an issue once my wife had difficulty to reach the above floor. I began to research from different company and complicity of my stairs it was required some sort of it curved, because of that the cost was out of my budget, I look at used stairlift, cost was ideal, but proper length wasn’t available. Than I decided to modify the top of my stairs to have a folding extension floor to reach the stairlift foot rest then I was able to install a straight stairlift rather than curved, so I contact AmeriGlide and quick was my decision, I purchased a Rave stairlift for quick delivery and came with enough track length to cut to size, it was easy to install after follow the instructions, it runs perfect and my wife is very happy and she’s able to do her things on her own.

Fantastic experience from start to finish! Nick Pannetti was my salesperson and he was attentive and helpful, responding with great care and efficiency regarding the urgency of my need to get my Dad set up with a recliner/lift chair. I stopped here first in the process of looking for a chair and didn't feel the need to look any further. Additionally Nick made the effort to get SAME DAY shipping to my Dad's Assisted Living facility locally, as we had talked about how problematic it was for him after having had a serious arm injury and having such a mobility challenge and fall risk. I'm very thankful for all Nick's help.
