My mother was discharged from the hospital and needed rehab but COVID was spreading in those facilities. So I felt I should bring her home where she would be safe. I desperately needed to get her a lift chair immediately. I walked into the store and quickly saw the perfect chair on the floor which was available. I bought it in 30 minutes! The store worked with me and delivered the chair in 2 hours!! My mother loves the chair and she says she wishes she had listened to me and found this wonderful chair years ago. Thank you Ameriglide.

I found the instructions mostly correct and easy to follow. Called the support number to get clarification on a couple of items. The only problem was the instructions didn’t allow enough room for the back of the chair To clear the wall. When I talked to the support team they admitted that it was a new design and they didn’t realize that it was bigger. I had to move the rail 2 1/2 inches more than instructions called for. I have installed enough stuff over the years to learn that it’s best to assemble everything before drilling any holes so it wasn’t a big deal for me. I did make sure that the support people were aware of the need to adjust the instructions. I am very pleased with the product overall and would recommend to my friends.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, I had an immediate need for a vertical lift for my mother when she was discharged from the hospital to access our home. I contacted two different local companies to quote this job. I was disappointed by the both the price and the time to have this accomplished, which would have been at least one month. I began researching online and after reading reviews, I decided to contact AmeriGlide. The representative I spoke with was Timothy Worley. Timothy did a complete assessment of our personal needs and answered all of my questions thoroughly. He sent me diagrams, technical and warranty information, as well as actual photos. I also saved a considerable amount of money. Timothy and I spoke several times on the phone, through email and text messaging to accomplish this task. In only six days I had a completely installed and functioning lift! I will be eternally grateful for the personal and professional service I received from Timothy Worley and from the AmeriGlide company. The process was seamless and easy and all promises were kept. I will be gladly sharing this information regarding my experience with both professionals and personal contacts. It is great to know that during challenging times, people and companies are there to assist you. Thank you very much for a job very well done!

Since I purchased my Ameriglide I've needed to replace the rail's because they were not cut properly. The installer was of little help and indicated he did not get the support he needed to feel confident Ameriglide would respond to his request to replace the rails. I ended up having to do all the contact calls ,(work) to confirm they were replacing the rails. Before the replacement rails arrived the seat release spring did not return the the seat release lever ro the proper position for the chair to operate. When the instsller returned to replace the rails he looked at the seat and said I would have to contact the manufacturer to have the seat replaced. Once again I, the consumer had to to make all the contact calls ,(work) to confirm they were replacing the seat. I still have to contact the manufacturer to confirm they are shipping a new seat. Although I was prompt in making payment for the seat I'm still struggling with the status of a replacement seat

I recommend the Rave 2, fairly simple DIY install if your handy. Chair movement is quiet and sturdy.

The control panel for the chair is complicated for a 80 year old lady. They should have simple wording on the device, ( up, down, recline). If no one is there to assisted her she have to sit straight up because she doesn't know which button to choose. Causing swelling in her feet.

We needed to order 2 lift chairs for my parents who reside in an assisted living 60 miles away. The recliners they had were not long enough for my father, so his feet were hanging off and they were swelling. They also needed the lift feature. I requested additional information from Ameriglide and quickly received a call from Austin Sanchez. He was so helpful and walked me through the choices available. We purchased the LC-358M in Sta-Kleen Burgundy. They were delivered to the loading dock at the residence as promised and my husband had no trouble putting them together. They are very comfortable, attractive and have an addition “lip” on the footrest so my father’s feet don’t hang off anymore! We are very pleased with our choice and especially pleased with the customer service Austin provided. His persistence AND assistance made the sale!!
