AmeriGlide Distributing 2019, IncReviews of ameriglide.com

I am so happy to have a safe way to negotiate the stairs in our older home. I was surprised at how well the track blends into the decor of the steps. The installer was so respectful and efficient with the install. Even our skittish cats have become used to me driving up the stairs; sometimes they will even race me to the top!

I purchased an Ameriglide chairlift from Ameriglide 5 years ago. They sent me the wrong chiar, an Escort. When I called to let them know, the salesman told me that it was a mistake but that was a better chair so I could just keep it. I installed it, and a week later, the chair I actually ordered came in. I had to call them and get them to pick that one back up. Now I need parts. After weeks of calling and leaving emails and getting no answers and no email responses, I final got a call. I was told sorry. That was a bad chair and was discontinued 5 years and you are just out of luck. Obviously, they saw an opportunity to get rid of a known bad chairlift. Of course they will sell me another lift at full cost.

I have had my chairlift for three years and was very happy with it. Not anymore. The lift first started to beep and go slow. Now it just won’t go at all. I cannot get any help by phone or email. My wife and I are living with friends because we can’t use the lift. IF THERE IS ANYONE THAT CAN HELP ME PLEASE CALL ME 406-942-2225

After ordering two stairlifts on Jan. 26, 2021, we received no information from Ameriglide. We were left in the dark about shipping, delivery and installation dates. We were contacted by an installer and days later all of the boxes arrived in good condition. Installation was done on Feb. 15, 2021. Both lifts are operating OK. An unused wire is hanging out of the bottom of one stairlift and out of the top of the other. One stairlift has a folding arm rail and is fitted with the chassis that is labeled straight rail. The other stairlift chassis is labeled for folding arm rail. Both stairlifts should be about a foot longer at the top to facilitate safe entry and exit away from the stairs. The footrest should swivel with the chair for the same reason. The right-hand lap belt retractor interferes with operation of the swivel release lever.

Worst customer service I have ever experienced. They don't back their products. If anything goes wrong, you get the runaround. If you are someone looking for a stairlift, look somewhere else.

Ask for Kelly!!!!! He made this whole purchase happen quickly. He helped us figure out what would work best for us. We ordered two lift chairs. Could not ask for better chairs or service. Like I said, I would ask for Kelly.

Please call so I can give you an in depth honest review otherwise it's a 0 star review.

Salesperson misrepresented my chair. It does nothing he said it would do. I am a cardiac patient and on palliative care. It is vital that my feet be hip level. This chair leaves them pointed down making the swelling so much worse. It has caused an increase in pain. Kelly did not discuss or offer me any other chair. He literally pushed this chair on me I just feel helpless They refuse to take the chair back with a refund I was told to get an attorney I need a chair with the twilight function. DO NOT BUY FROM AMERGLIDE
