The in person staff are friendly and competent, but ultimately working with the website and actually ordering and receiving contact lenses and prescriptions is a huge pain. I will be finding a new eye glass/contacts provider for next time.

Good experience with eye doctor (which is independant from America's Best). But, when I didn't find glasses I liked in store, I asked them to measure my pupillary distance so I could look online. They told me they couldn't because it depends on the glasses (Not true). I get that they want you buying their retail priced glasses, but if I paid for an exam, and you want future business from me, you should take the two minutes to do this. I've never had this issue with ANY other eye place.

The 2 glasses for 145$ bifocal is to get u in the door. Scratch resistant extra 27.50 PER LENSE. if you want any type of glare protection 27.50 PER LENSE if you want upgrade from cheap plastic lenses 27.50 per Lense! My 2 for 145 ended up totaling 400$ with 2 pairs of frames the cheapest frame they offer.... the Dr was amazing and I absolutely adore her. So I will be going back for my exams every 2 years. Now that I understand the 2 for 145 is actually teo for 400 dollars I will be better prepared. But WAY MORE added on if you actually want quality glases...anti reflective, anti scratch and not plastic are a must for people who need quality eyewear.

I would not recommend America’s Best for your eyewear needs. If need be, it’s best to have them examined then go somewhere else to make the purchase because, their products is of poor quality.

I am a current customer of America's Best. I am out of town and accidentally left replacement lens at home. I tore my only pair of lens. I called a local location and was refused help. I wasn't expecting to be given a trial pair so I could get home but they refused to sell me even a box. I won't be returning. Location is on Forest Drive, Columbia,SC.

This is about address 90 west 225 street store. They really deserve 0 stars. 4 times I've attempted to get contact lenses, appts were rescheduled due to no doctor on site or the person that gives the class didn't come in. Today I was met with a rude person who attempted to speak in Spanish complaining about me after the manger asked her to help me as if I didn't understand what she was saying. I walked off with no contacts because they did not want to help me after I was given an appointment to come in. Before that my son's glasses took over a month to arrive because someone forget to order them. This is the worst store ever. I made a complaint to cooperate let's see what they do!
