Very disappointing experience at America's Best in Laredo. The male doctor who examined me, Hector Martinez, never introduced himself and displayed an unprofessional, dismissive attitude throughout the visit. What concerned me most was watching him casually wipe only part of the examination headrest without even looking at the area he was cleaning. It certainly did not inspire confidence in their sanitation practices. Two days later, I developed itching in my right eye, followed by severe redness and green discharge. I was subsequently diagnosed with bacterial conjunctivitis (pink eye). While I cannot confirm where the infection originated, the timing and what I witnessed during my examination are concerning. The rest of the staff was courteous, but patients deserve professionalism, proper hygiene, and confidence in the care they receive. Unfortunately, this experience left me questioning all three.

They were over booked! Manager told me the next morning Good Ridance when I complained about trying to get a copy of my prescription, which I was going to pay for! Never will go back there again!

I have been going there for years. When I pick up my glasses, they have always sat me down, adjusted it need, when I went in may to pick them up, there was a new person that just handed them to me, in the case and said thank you. A coworker that he had been there for years, just looked at me. I’m sorry this store is going down hill at a high rate of speed. Avoid them is my advise. The location is in Delta Township at marketplace.

Long wait times, understaffed & even longer Lab wait times. I was lied to telling me an FDA hold is on my glasses. Took almost a month to receive my glasses & every time I'd call, a new lie. Remote doctor w/no in house person to check my eyes. Plus only a $10 difference between cash and my insurance. 💯 A SCAM-DO NOT TRUST! DO NOT GO THERE! DO NOT TRUST THEM & I WOULD LEAVE NEGATIVE STARS.

I had an appointment today at American best eyeglass company an employee name Liam helped me, I had fantastic service he treated me as if i was their only customer . I purchase 2 pairs of glasses for a small amount of money . I am telling you they are the chick- fil-a of the eye glass company. so if you need glasses at a reasonable price and you don't want to spend a lot of money go to American best, and ask for Liam .

Over a month late and zero help. My contact lens order is now more than a month delayed, and when I asked for a temporary supply, they claimed they had absolutely nothing in stock. No backup boxes, no alternatives, no effort to help. They left me without something I need every day and acted like it wasn’t their responsibility. Completely unreliable company avoid them if you depend on your lenses.

This is my experience with the location in Kingsport, TN. First of all, my 11 year old daughter wasn't seen until well over an hour past her scheduled appointment time. Secondly, they used a typical bait and switch tactic. They advertise 1 low price on 2 pairs of eyeglasses including the eye exam. The reality: $300+ on only 1 pair, NO free exam & lenses are NOT shatter resistant (which are unsafe for a child). Additionally, something I mentioned to my daughter while getting her eye exam, was apparently conveyed to the salesperson to help pressure me into accepting the bait and switch. So strange that the salesperson just happened to use my exact words. I walked out feeling I had been scammed. A little post checking online after the sale, confirmed that this is a typical tactic they use, so I cancelled the order. I was able to get the same prescription filled elsewhere with more features, including shatter resistent lenses for less than $90 instead of the $224 America's Best was charging me.

Unfortunately, I wasted more than a month and money of course by going to this crazy company, I went to one of their places in North Wales PA, after checkup they said you will get a call once your glasses are ready, after 2 weeks maybe I called them, they said yes they are ready, I went their and after trying my glasses, they were terrible and I told them no way I can wear them. They said we'll make an adjustment and once ready you will receive a call, same story after more than 10 days they never called me back untill I called by myself and they said that they are ready, I went back and after trying my glasses same thing they were terrible, and they said we will make another adjustment, same thing again until I called them by myself and I went there again, I got my glasses which are good for nothing, I've said to them it's ok, I got them and out of their office. My experience with this company is terrible and of course will never ever go back to them or recommend them to anyone.
