America's Best Contacts & EyeglassesReviews of americasbest.com

Been there before, and got 2 pair with exam for $69. Great for computer and closer up. Ten years later, needed an update for driver's license. The new prescription is good for farther away. I went in to try and get the lenses changed to the old prescription and they said they would not.

I usually buy my glasses from a large dept store but they dont take my Insurance any more so I had americas best do the lenses for me (I already had the frames). I have had the glasses for 6 months and they have been losing their coating and are scratched horribly. I have not used anything abrasive on them. In all the yrs I have bought glasses I have never had my lenses come even close to having this much damage in the 2 or so yrs that i keep one pair. I have had this pair 6 months and already they should be replaced. Go elsewhere.

The office staff was courteous and very friendly. Customer interaction I would give a 5 star rating. It’s only after you leave the store that the trouble starts. Texts to come get glasses only to find out they are not your glasses. Somehow they lost them and will have to reorder. But they lead you along by “yours should be here this afternoon” and it takes 2 more trips to get the truth, and we don’t live in the city where the office is at. Most of all it’s my 2nd visit to this place and it must be a common thing because the exact thing happened my 1st visit.

It was my first and last time getting glasses from Americas Best in Glen Mills PA. It seemly was good customer service but my frames are poor quality and I didn’t receive what I believe I paid for !! I asked for progressive lens and the darn things don’t transition!! They fast talk into the sale and I chalked it up to Never Again!!!!

Refuse to honer the 250 birthday promotion. I made an appointment near the end of June 2026 for eyeglasses and eye exam. That appointment was canceled by the store 2 days before the appointment. I rescheduled to another store for July 22 2026. My eye exam was great however the sale of the eyeglasses not so much. The associate Tim did not know anything about the promotion so after he had calculated the final payment and before I paid i told his about the promotion he then had to get a manager to see about adding the promotion. The manager advised me that she was unable to process the promotion because it needed to be made online i told her i had made it however the original location canceled due to sickness. She again said sorry we can't honer the promotion. After vigorous arguing and telling her just to ring me up for the eye exam and I will go elsewhere for my glasses and ill be contacting corporate She mysteriously found 70 percent off off my entire purchase. Now is it a correct thing to do especially during a continuing promotion and with a returning customer or really to any customer. I had to tell her several times to just ring me up so I can go elsewhere I basically took 15 minutes of me asking only for her to apply discounts and promotion. 3618 mall rd Louisville ky 40218 store #5677.

No one called to let me know my glasses were in. I went in to the store and was told they send texts but they know they don't work. Picked up my glasses, wore them all day, they felt crooked. Finally took them off to examine them and noticed that yes, they were crooked, plus one of the lenses was popping out. Went back to the store an hour before they closed but no one could help me because The only fit technician had already gone home for the day. Glasses feel very cheap.

The in person staff are friendly and competent, but ultimately working with the website and actually ordering and receiving contact lenses and prescriptions is a huge pain. I will be finding a new eye glass/contacts provider for next time.

Good experience with eye doctor (which is independant from America's Best). But, when I didn't find glasses I liked in store, I asked them to measure my pupillary distance so I could look online. They told me they couldn't because it depends on the glasses (Not true). I get that they want you buying their retail priced glasses, but if I paid for an exam, and you want future business from me, you should take the two minutes to do this. I've never had this issue with ANY other eye place.
