I used to love getting my glasses here. I lived in East Northport and I got good exams and I had a good experience. I recently moved and had to go to the Bayshore store on sunrise Highway and I just can’t see clearly out of my glasses. I went back once to have the lenses changed and it’s still not comfortable. They’re not clear. Waste of $300. In a shitty exam from an inexperienced doctor. The second exam was given by the same doctor that gave me the first exam and it just was not a good one. So now I end up wearing my sunglasses all the time because they’re the only ones I can see clearly out of ridiculous.

For some strange reason.....you're apparently in a pissing contest with WalMart, yes? Who the hell doesn't take Blue Cross and Blue Shield? Your company is disappointing and the workers shouldn't have to bear the brunt of that pissing contest. Get your sh*t together.

I have purchased glasses from y’all for over 20 years. I went several months back and got 2 pair from the store on Prien lake rd in lake Charles. I got a scratch on a lens an went in to get a new lens. They told me I Me my glasses were safety glasses and would have to buy a whole new st of glasses because y’all can’t change one lens. I’m almost 70 years old I was not told that these were safety glasses an could not exchange r b fixes. I don’t need safety glasses an should have been told this. I’m very disappointed an now I have a pair of glasses with a big scratch that I can barely wear. I was offered to buy a whole new pair instead. So I have glasses with a big scratch. I was told the took my insurance, so I took the day off for my appointment. Ince I showed up I was informed they do NOT take Cigna insurance. This has to be the most incompetent business Ive dealth with and Im 55 years old.

My insurance company told me that I have 0 copays. But when I get to americas best they charge a 20.00 fee for retinal exam and 50.00 fitting fee that are both unnecessary but they will not see you unless you pay these. They take it from my 100.00 allowance. This is theft by deception in my point of view. If the exams are paid by insurance then How do they mandate exams that are not needed. What is the point of insurance if these companies find ways to still make you pay. I’m disabled and cannot work so this is effing bulls/)7

The doctor was rude and he didn’t look like he know what he was doing. The doctor’s name was Thomas Wagner. I wouldn’t suggest going to him. Everybody else was polite.
