My experience here was mixed results as some of the things they did I feel wasn't proper. The glasses are very nice and even have spring loaded hinges for better fit. I was disappointed in the fact I had to have another eye exam before they would make my glasses. I went to a competitor, warby Parker, and was very disappointed in the quality of the eye exam, as the glasses arrived and they were unusable. I was getting headaches from wearing them, because the prescription was so far off. In the future I would just go here as they did not mess up my glasses. They even changed the nose pads on both pair of glasses at no charge.

I've used various America's Best locations for years, in both the greater metro Atlanta area and now in eastern Iowa. I could not be more pleased with the friendliness and professional helpfulness of the store personnel. Erica at the Davenport (IA) Commons office recently was just a standout. The ONLY thing that caused me to take off one star is not the staff's fault. The offices typically seem understaffed, though the professionals there work very hard and fast to do their best.

For the most part my experience with America’s Best in Summerville on Main St. was positive. I liked the optometrist and the young lady who checked me out. I did NOT like the elderly woman who initially examined my eyes with the machines. I specifically came in to get a certificate for the DMV to renew my driver’s license. After she finished she told me that I would HAVE to purchase distance glasses for driving. I told her that I could see just fine when I drive and didn’t need glasses for driving. Instead of dropping it she kept arguing with me and told me that the doctor would not lie to the DMV. I told her that I would talk to the doctor. She repeated herself and said that the doctor would not lie to the DMV. I again repeated myself and told her I would talk to the doctor. When I did talk with the doctor she agreed with me that I did not need distance glasses because South Carolina only requires distance glasses if your eyes are 20/70. Mine were not even close so that old grouchy woman argued with me for no reason. She needs to work on her bed side manner and when the customer says they don’t need glasses for whatever reason she needs back off and let the doctor take over. I felt this old woman was trying to push having to buy something I clearly did not need. That is not good business nor good customer service.

I recently got glasses from Eyeglass World and I had to pay for the eye exam. At America's Best, the eye exam was free and more thorough. You do not get the glasses on the same day there, but that is all right. It seems like the glasses that I got at a slightly less price at America's Best are of lower quality the ones I got from Eyeglass World. Because I am a person on a low income, I would like Lee go back to America's best, but they were all booked up and could not take me for an appointment, so I will need to make sure that I book my appointment well in advance of my needs.

Upon arrival at the America’s Best location I received a friendly greeting and then quickly seated. I was then greeted by Paige Jones who located my order and got me fitted. I’m very happy with my new glasses and how much better things look.

I recently visited America's Best location at the 1115 Vidina Place Oviedo FL 32765 store, EXCELLENT customer service from Melissa Powel L.D.O.! She was very pleasant and helpful from the time I entered the store and went above and beyond to ensure I was taken care of. I hope her leadership reads this review and gives her the recognition she deserves! Thanks again Melissa

I am very particular about the medical services and where to go. I have anxiety so it's hard. When I come to America's best in turnersville, I feel very welcomed. The staff is always upbeat and very nice, and the doctor is fun. Great place to go for eyeglasses that are affordable AND fashionable. I was asked why I go there if they don't take my insurance and I told the girl exactly that. Fun, affordable and i don't mind waiting because of that. Today we need places like this. I will keep coming here as long as I need glasses.

Went to a location in Huntsville, AL and worked with an associate named Andrew. He patiently assisted us for over 2 hours while we tried to decide on what frames we wanted. He provided information that was important in our decision. He pulled out multiple boxes of frames from drawers for us to go through. He never gave any indications of impatience with us. I don't know how he didn't :). He worked with us on pricing. We left the store feeling like we mattered as customers and we were grateful.
