Terrible experience. They sofa I ordered arrived soaked and dirty. I've been trying to return it for DAYS but they're trying to force me into keeping the sofa by sending replacement parts, but I've expressed several times that I want to return the sofa and get a refund. Now they're trying to CHARGE ME for returning the sofa. Is this even legal?! BUYER BEWARE! Do not order from Albany Park.

I would give minus stars if I could! Do not believe the refer and earn promotion. It is a total SCAM! I ordered a chair for my daughter using the referral link. Here we are five months later and multiple emails, and she is still waiting for her $75. They have now said there was no evidence of using the referral link. After a complete runaround now the SCAM is revealed. Horrendous customer service, fraudulent marketing tactics, and blatant lies. This is what you get when you order furniture from Albany Park.

The Kova Sofa from Albany Park couch is the HUGEST WASTE OF MONEY. It offers ZERO support. I bought this couch last September and every day I sit on it, I deeply regret that decision. Everyone that sits on it hates it because there is minimal padding. It’s like they filled it 30% instead of the full 100%. I constantly have back problems because of the lack of padding and lumbar support. I left a 1-star review on their website and it never showed up. They are misleading consumers who are hoping for a couch that looks exactly like the pictures do. Instead I got a modular couch (yay) that is like sitting on top of a flat pillow (ugh). The back cushions constantly fold in and I feel like I’m always caving in with it. The only way to get support is to completely lay down it. After contacting their customer support, I was told to, “allow time for the cushions to fluff” and they never did! They told me that I should not put more cushion or padding in the seat because it would ruin the fabric. I despise this couch and wish I would have tried before I purchased. Which I know they say you can do that but these seats are enormous. They showed up in 4 huge boxes that took 2 men to bring each one up to my apartment. Not real easy to return. Never again! Spend your money elsewhere!

I placed order # AP_117191 in November 2023. Included two armchairs and ottomans from the Park line. Totaled $2,600.00. When the furniture arrived there were clear severe packaging issues. The box which housed the furniture legs were packaged on top of the cushions vs. placed securely inside the compartment located underneath the piece of furniture. When the box(es) arrived you could see the top protruding approximately 3-6 inches making the shipment larger than the container/box. I contacted customer service and they stated that the indentations would come out with water as the material was velvet. I assembled the furniture and have since used it for less than 60 days. The quality is HORRIBLE. The armchair cushions are flattened from 4 inches to about 1 inch (or less) after sitting in the seat within 15 minutes. While sitting you lean forward due to the cushion being thinner at the front of the armchair vs. the middle or back. Furthermore when sitting the armchair sits lower than the ottoman (matching piece) by about 1-2 inches. I have since contacted customer care again and shared photos. I have been told that the furniture is allowing flexing of the material to avoid tears. That I should "give the inserts a good fluff". Both times I've reached out to their customer care, they have avoided the issues and simplified the fix. The furniture is simply uncomfortable and performs as if it's been used for years - the cushions sag heavily. I've looked at purchasing foam inserts for the seats to try and solve the issues but when I look at the price, it simply should not be necessary. I am not happy with this company at all. Awful quality! I have communicated with a Jessa Cayetuna (quality issue) and a Michelle Macalinao (packaging issue). It's unethical and I have requested my money back. They claim that there is no manufacturer's defect but will provide a partial refund of $100 on a $2,452.05 order. Unethical, unprofessional. This is awful furniture priced at high quality dollars.

Do not purchase anything from this company! The couches are low quality and NOT worth the cost. We purchased a Kova couch from Albany Park I completely regret it, there is no support at all and I’m constantly having to “fix” the couch cushions/fluff them. I also believe this company cherry picks reviews or falsifies reviews in order to elevate their “star” status. The company claims this is not true, however I was unable to locate my review (which was not a four stars and constructively critical) which tells me otherwise. Definitely not worth the money at all…I feel scammed. Stay away buyer beware!!

The couch itself? Great. However, it arrived with the entire backpiece missing from the sectional. I contacted customer service and they immediately blamed this on the shipping company. Rather than doing their best to make it right, I felt like I had to BEG for them to send me the missing piece. Even then, I kept getting handed off to another individual within the company yet no one would supply me with any sort of resolution or update on this missing piece. If I didn't email them every so often, they would not be going out of their way to update me. I am beyond disappointed in the customer service I received and it's very clear that this is not one of the company's core values. I needed my sectional fully assembled for my daughters first birthday party and stated this multiple times, only for the piece to finally ship out but won't arrive until over a month since the original delivery. Fingers crossed it actually comes considering customer service doesn't seem inclined to help.

Great except the part where they don't deliver all the pieces for your $3700 sofa, then 2 weeks later when the replacement piece is delivered it still doesn't have feet, back, or cushions, then 2 weeks and many emails later they're STILL saying "be patient" and "truth to be told, we are still keeping up with the delays in shipping out of all replacement orders." And you can't get anyone to give you an actual date when you'll receive that $524 piece of the couch you paid for. And no one will pick up the phone on their "customer service" line and you have to threaten complaints to the BBB, Attorneys General, and everyone you can reach on social media, to try and get some resolution. That part. BUYERS BEWARE.

Poor customer service and they do not stand by their value proposition that the couch is scalable now that the owner sold the business. Lifetime warranty is basically worthless.
