Unfortunately my headphones are only 10 months old ans the left side is cracking and not holding a charge iam trying to get a replacement but seems like it’s a act of god also do they make a in ear head set

After 11 months of a lot of use, my Aftershokz headphones decided they didn't want to turn back on even though they were fully charged! As they were still under warranty I contacted customer services, they emailed back very quickly asking for my proof of purchase. Once everything was confirmed they dispatched a new pair immediately! Fantastic service.

**UPDATE** I love this product and worked hard to get my issue resolved (Like so many others the left ear piece started rattling just before the 2 years was up). After numerous emails and having to track down peoples personal emails I managed to get a response and it was resolved. A new headset was sent and I am delighted to say I am working again with a great headset. Thank you for resolving this.

I bought the Openrun mini at an overseas sports exhibition in Amsterdam. Although it is claimed to have up to 8 hours of usage, the headphones would automatically turned off after slightly more than an hour of use, despite having charged it fully. This happened twice in less than 3 weeks since I have bought it. When I tried to turn it back on, it would pair and play music for about a minute or so before turning off again. I have reached out to the customer service at Shokz which has turned out to be rather unhelpful and slow to respond. Initially they asked me to return to the original seller, which I had explained that I am unable to do so since I bought them whilst overseas. I am currently based in the UK but will be moving to asia soon. Secondly they asked for video evidence. Having only own one phone like most people, i found it really difficult to film the headphones out of action when its the same phone I am trying to pair and play music with. And I only use the headphones when I’m out for a run so it is not possible to carry a second phone even if I do own one. Poor customer service aside, the Shokz products are simply not reliable, despite how amazing the technology sound. One should be suspicious when the solution to several of the troubleshooting scenarios is to file a warranty claim. Clearly, this company is aware of how faulty the Openrun products can be, yet their customer service are doing nothing to reassure their customers. Initially, i just wanted to get another replacement but right now, all I want is my money back. It has been such an awful experience.

I'm writing a review as I've just made a warranty claim and my experience has been nothing like the bad reviews here. My aeropex started rattling in left ear about 7 weeks before warranty expiry. I submitted a claim through the website, 1 day later they emailed to confirm that the claim had been accepted and that they'd replace with Open Run instead of Aeropex which has been discontinued. I was fine with this as the spec appears to be identical. 2 days after that I received my new headphones, I can't actually see any difference between the Open Run and Aeropex. Really happy with the service from Shokz so don't panic if you read the bad reviews. I'm in UK.

Bought some opencomms from ebay. They worked fine. Then decided to connect to 2 devices, multipoint. Following shokz own online instructions it told me to first reset the device. After doing that, the voice no longer told me I was in pairing mode, just silence. After trying day after day to see if more resets would fix the problem, I saw the red/blue lights flashing to indicate pairing mode, not easy to see when they are on your head and you are listening to voice prompts!! At that point, I did manage to pair to 2 devices but the effort was hardly worth it as the max volume level is now down to very low levels, so I cannot hear what’s being said. Contacting their support service can best be described as impossible. It took them over 2 weeks to respond, and when they did they were more interested in where I was located, then fixing the problem (yes, the problem that they had caused with their own instructions). Then they basically ignored what I was asking, and kept telling me that I could not make a warranty claim, something I had never asked for. Shokz, AfterShokz, whatever they call themselves, it doesn’t really matter. The most shocking thing is their level of service, which is just about zero. Be careful while following any of their own online instructions because even though you and I would expect those to not damage the very equipment they were written for, somehow Shokz thinks its okay to cause the damage, then walk away and leave me with a non-working headset. The final analysis, a s**t company providing very poor after service for flimsy products that just stop working. A waste of money! Don’t buy! P.S. I have brought two aftershokz. Very inconsistent performance. Very expensive but very unreliable brand.
